  1. Well, firstly, you need to be ruthless and find a business where you can employ some form of wage enslavement. Employ people at very low and take most profit for yourself.

Secondly, as people have already mentioned on here, the current generation is obsessed with instant gratification and showing off. The explosion of advertising, MTV etc., and social media has been a gift for people to who want to make a lot of money of this approach to life based around consumerism. The trick is to hold back on being too showy yourself and get in on trying to convince others they need to buy a product to be happy, attractive and interesting people. This is a sort of form of consumer slavery. Make a product and convince people they need it and want to share to Instagram to show that that they are successfu etc., a product which will also become obsolete as you bring out new iterations of it is even better.

You can take some inspiration from Kanye West, whether or not he is doing this, he has grasped the way to make money.

If you can stomach it, this could see you on your way to spending five figures on a car. Good luck!

  2. Hahah it's great to see the extremes.. neo conservatives... commies... bottom line.. if the president constantly makes shitty decisions and has no balls to follow up on ANYTHING he's a shit president. I don't think there is a lot of sympathy for hippie bullshit on a Lambo owner site.. most people here are the ones who worked hard and sacrificed.. and thus fund the millions of low lives that live off of social programs and cry all the time.... Clinton is an ego driven psychopath...crazy eyes says it all.... at least Billy was too busy getting his knob polished to cause any trouble :)

Actually the rich live off the poor. Where does your income come from? It's extracted from the population one way or another. Besides, hard work does not correlate very closely with wealth at all. A little investigation of the disparities there and it is clear. We can make a better world. :icon_thumleft:

  3. You make a good point on the impact of the recession. However I still think the Aventador SV will outsell the Murcie SV. Time will tell. Price might be a factor depending where they pitch it. In a way I hope you are right for the reason that low numbers, styling and performance is a significant part of the formula for special cars.

I like the Aventador but it wasn't in my top 3 Lamborghini V12 list, which previously picked itself. Assuming the spy-shots are real then this SV makes that list very difficult now.

We're gonna hit recession time soon, either 2015/16 so it will probably be the same story again.

  4. It's not a common occurrence, but I really think that Peugeot (or whatever designer they used) with the Quartz Concept has created something more dynamic and interesting as a 4X4 than the Urus.

This design, with a bit of tweaking, would look quite at home with the Lambo badge, I think.

  5. Body shell components are designed to do that. They dissipate energy. I see absolutely nothing wrong with how the car behaved.

Yeh, I understand that. Not suggesting it's wrong. Just surprised that it was so fucked. I know it's carbon fibre, but I've been rear ended at a greater speed and the damage was barely noticeable. It's just amazing that a knock like that can be $20000 out the window just like that.

  6. I know, I know, I'm going to take all kinds of shit for this . . . but can whoever designed those clunky-style side mirrors that originally appeared on the first Gallardo and that Lambo has bewilderingly decided to stick with ever since, despite being the single ugliest piece of industrial design ever fitted to an automobile that wore the Lamborghini badge, please be handed down, at a MINIMUM, the same sentence that Captain Schettino is getting for wrecking that cruise ship a little while back?

    Just sayin'.

Totally with you on those mirrors. I cannot believe they kept them on the Aventador. I think they kept them so that when they give it a facelift they have some more leverage for it to look totally refreshed. In other words, those old mirrors are an instance of planned obsolescence.
