    did it to mine pretty easy ... remove front wheel , remove fender liner .... replace ... DO NOT GO AT IT WITH A SCREWDRIVER!

    Hi guys, first post so woo hoo to me! :D

     

    as the manual is really pretty crap and tells you to go to the dealer to replace the bulbs someone must know how i can get the old looking orange front repeaters out the bumper and replace with the clear ones.

     

    this site helped on the jacking points too that they dont seem to care to mention in the manual! so thanks this site ;D

     

    any help or a link (that I've tried searching for) would be great. just don't want to attack with a screwdriver to find out it's bolted in from the back or I mess up the paint!

  7. A/C blows warm

    I experienced the same thing on my Denali ended up replacing the blend door acuator

    My A/C suddenly started blowing warm air - freon level was checked (full). The issue is likely the compressor, evidently any V8 Audi driveshaft powered compressor will work. Any recommendations on the cheapest source for replacement?

     

    Mechanic claims compressor needs to be replaced with 90% certainty - would appreciate input on further diagnosing my issue.

  8. RWD Conversion LP560

    i didi a RWD conversion on my 06 ... i would start by just dropping the front driveshaft and see what happens

     

     

     

    A few weeks ago, my front control arms failed on my LP560 causing me to replace both sides upper and lower. My mechanic then noticed today my CV axles, (or 1/2 shafts?) were bad as well. He suggested instead of replacing them, just to convert the car to a RWD. I thought about it, and liked the idea, but Im not sure if its easily done on the LP's? I know on pre LP's it has been done plenty of times, but I have yet to hear of any LP560's being converted. Would the same procedure be done on LP's as pre LP's? Also if done, would there be anything else that would be needed? Ive been searching for about a good few hours and the only difference I see between a 550-2 and 560-4 is the suspension? Or is this not correct? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

     

  9. Clear side and rear parking light/markers

    just did mine... euro spec cars do not have the rear markers so they do not make clear rear side markers ...

    Anyone done this recently? My G is black, so I think the clear side markers will look good, but not sure about leaving the rear markers in red, as I can't seem to locate clear rear markers.

     

    Input appreciated...

     

  11. WTB: Lamborghini Dealer Sign

    i have a vintage dealer sign circa late 60's ... only a handfull in the US i would sell for the right price

    Does anyone know where I can buy an official light-up Lamborghini dealer sign/emblem for my garage? I've found a couple radom listings that have come up over the last few years on line, but they are all sold. The aftermarket versions do not look the same. Thanks!

    Just finished....$50 worth of supplies at Home Depot and two hours of my time....

     

    Looks amazing...just like the ceramic one on SL and Performante...

     

    I'll upload material and step-by-step progression pics soon.

     

    Very pleased that I didn't have to ship my car anywhere, pay for expensive parts, and pay for labor to acheive the results that I wanted.

    ok so here is my $10 solution did it 3 months ago or so ... i just taped up around my tips and sprayed them with krylon hi-temp grill paint ... also removed the logo scuffed it with a 3m pad and sprayed it also ... the grill paint has a really high adhesion so tons of car washes no problemo

    well then you are looking in the right place that darn paddle unit .... btw those are sick wheels! what brand?

    yes it does. also when i can get it to go into 1st gear and the i put it in automatic mode, the car drives perfect it shifts up and down. but then it is hard to get back into manual mode. i just keep pulling the paddles and nothing.

     

  22. Hot battery terminal

    funny ... mine did the same thing after sitting a few days i also have a new battery... i hooked it up to a batt charger yesterday and drove it today... it was not hot afterwards im thinking that batt was low

    Hey guys, I took my 04 Gallardo out for a drive for about an hour, came back and my positive terminal on my battery was very hot to the touch ( burning hot ) My gauge in the car is reading a little below 13 volts but when I check it with my voltmeter it is reading 13.20 when the car is running and over 12 when it is turned off. I have checked all the leads both positive and negative with no luck. The battery is also new. Any help would be much appreciated. Its an 04 egear with 20,000kms. Thanks in advance.
