  4. Calling out to South Florida

    Some of you may or may not know, but the Super Trofeo World Finals will be held at Sebring International Raceway November 19-22

     

    I would like to get a feel from those of you that would like to attend. We're planning a Lamborghini run from Lamborghini Palm Beach on the morning of Saturday 21st November. The Idea is to set off at 8am sharp to arrive at the track for 10am. The first qualifying session starts at 10:30 and there will be two races that day. From 6pm there will be a BBQ and live music. For those that are staying overnight, Day 2: Sunday 22nd there will be two more races with lunch and award ceremonies to follow. The day will be tied up at around 5pm ready for the journey back home.

     

    As an added bonus, there will be a hospitality package available for purchase. This will include Lamborghini Hospitality, hot laps on America's 2nd longest race track, parade lap, Lamborghini coral and much more. Specific details of the hospitality package will follow next week.

  5. Painting my car

    So before I get called crazy for painting 1 of 2 6-speed arancio atlas LP640s let me briefly explain my reasoning. My top 3 favorite colors on this car are in this order: 1) Rosso Andromeda 2) Arancio Atlas 3) Grigio Telesto. Red has always been my favorite color followed by orange and my first Lambo was Rosso Andromeda. Every time I look at my car I think "I love this car, love the color!" But after a couple seconds I think to myself "but it would be so much nicer in red." Since there aren't any US Rosso Andromeda 6-speeds available I've decided to paint the car and make it perfect for me. I've got a 670 body kit that will be delivered next week so this is the perfect time to paint the car as the kit will need to be painted. I don't necessarily care about resale as I'm planning on keeping it long term and handing it down to my son - I'm 29 and single so it won't be for a while lol.

     

    I've already found a shop that's going to redo the entire interior in black alcantara with red alcantara inserts and red Q-Citura stitching.

     

    So my question is. What shops in the LA area do you guys recommend? Money isn't a factor and it will be a full repaint (engine, panels, and trimmings out). I've already talked to Mitch at Famous Autosports and like his work. They painted a GTR in Monterey Blue and their work looks flawless.

  10. Verde picus? How does it look in person

    Wow that's beautiful! If I may ask how does this color look in person? I have heard some folks say it's a really dull olive green and some say it's a pastel green. The other thing that gets me is that it looks yellowy in some of the pictures I have seen. =/

     

     

    Definitely not dull olive green in any way, shape or form. Without direct sunlight, very pastel.....in direct sunlight, slight hint of yellow. Hope this additional picture helps.

    Im being patient. What makes me impatient is hearing stories of people getting these amazing discounts on cars while I can't even get a discount on anything. I honestly don't see much inventory out there. Id be content with a 2015 for 240-250k with low miles, but Im not seeing that at all.

    Assume that is for the items that are carbon twill switched to carbon composite.

     

    The picture shows the engine cover in carbon twill - is that what is also offered on the roadster thought it was black paint matte.

     

    On the SV I saw below the door is not matte paint - it's a vinyl.

     

    Any idea on the price to change the intakes cf.

     

     

    I was actually quoting numbers for an LP700 Roadster, not the SV.

    Looks absolutely fantastic.

     

    That is the exact spec had in the first round - ended up going in a different direction.

     

    Might as well be the first and get it over with - seats and thoughts?

    This car has the comfort seats, the only way to go in my opinion.

    Looking for some quick feedback guys. A good friend of mine walked into his local Lambo dealership today. He was looking at a new H in grigio lynks/blk yellow stich & calipers

    Car has an msrp for $281,295. They offered $5K off and an early allocation for an H spyder next spring. Is the $5K off a decent deal?
