Done and done, put red stuffs on, job was easy, except for having to use a 750 lb impact and PB Blaster to get 1 of the wheel bolts off WTF?
Rotors were good, didn't even crack the bleeders, just slowly pushed the pistons back, tomorrow I install the aftermarket clutch rod

Yeah it's a water fill, but needs very little attention.
I put the red in today after the interstate quit, when I pulled it it was bulging out at the sides, scary

WTF, let my battery run down again, this is the second time I jumped the car and the thing went straight to redline, and stayed there, switched it off, fired it back up, all good, except my pants, need new ones now. Anyone ever had this happen? No check engine lights.

Please no "It depends" jokes :-)

Dear Lamborghinisti,
Yeah......sad but true......it would happen to me.
I was thinking about your cig lite problem. I think you just have two wires misplaced. The cig get 12v and so does the light....but switched.
Try this, put a lighted probe or better, a multimeter on the cig contact in the base of the socket. Now, turn on the lights and see if the multimeter registers a 12V+
Both the light and cig contacts are male spades of the same size...easy to mis-wire.
Let us know !
I just happen to have my center console out for refinishing and repainting....so all the switches are out. I went over and looked at the cig spades before I posted.
Shamile
Freeze...Miami Vice !
You know, I bet I did that when I put the big arse TV/stereo in the dash.

Why would somone do that to such a nice ...
set of Simmons wheels?

The Diablo 6.0 do use Titanium rods, i have 12 of them stashed away, they are the most expensive connecting rod Lamborghini ever made. Hopefully you will not need new rod bolts, if so, scrap the rods and get Carello to make you some new H beam roads, Lamborghini will only sell rod bolts with the rods & @ $12k + for the set.
You can't get them from ARP?
-
Stuffed myself under dash, looked up, can't find the darn thing, anyone know whre it is?
-
"How much coke you hafta sell to get that?"
"It's like Mary K, every 10th kilo I get a free car"
"Where'd you put the speaker"
"huh"
"It doesn't sound like a Fiero"
"How do you pay for the gas"
"I paid for the car, gas is easy"
Overheard "I bet he lives in some shtihole apartment"
"Yep", "Hey, aren't you my neighbor?"

Fob works (took it to Autozone, they actually have a fob tester) or at least it transmits, but pressing it has no effect on anything. With central locking it shouldnt be that hard to install aftermarket alarm with a siren, pager and ign kill. Car starts and runs without fob anywhere near it.

[crickets]
Anyone?
-
Replaced the batteries in fob (thanks lamboweb), pressed button, nothing happens. Alarm brain behind stereo is still hooked up, but seems to be disabled. Am I lucky and should just put a new alarm in it, or is there a way to un-disable the factory (MED?) system without opening Pandora's box? Anyone hooked up a new alarm to the fuel rail valves? I guess if I knew the polarity (always on, always off) of them I could adapt a starter kill circuit to them.

Anyone put a camera in it to help with the blind spot big enough to hide a semi?

I love it when some moron pulls up, says "Nice Fiero" and asks how I got it to "sound real", exotic car equivalent of "That thang got a hemi?"
LL
And yes, It's got a hemi

Cars are great on the highway, drove mine across the country once. I drive it whenever I feel like it, rain or shine. I was informed by a local club member that, at around 35k miles, my car was ready for the scrapheap right before he asked if I'd sell it. Hellfire and brimstone weather I take the F250.
