    Hello, this is my first post here so kindly excuse my ignorance if I posted this in the wrong place.

     

    I recently placed an order at my local dealer for a 2015 Aventador (which won't be in production till later this year, so I still got some time to configure some finer details)

     

    Here are my color/visual preferences:

    Exterior:

    -Nero Nemesis (Black)

    -Carbon fiber engine bay trim

    -Transparent Engine Bonnet

    Interior:

    -Elegante Specification, Nero Ade (Black) and Rosso Alala (Red)

    -Full interior carbon fiber package

    -Contrast stitching

    -Q-Citura (seats, door, roof & back panel)

    -Branding package with leather

     

    By default -and in reference to the shallow configurator they offered- the Q-citura portion of the roof & back panel are black with red contrast stitching. But they said it might be possible to choose a different color (red). So I'm wondering if it would look better in red Q-citura rather than black.

     

    I tried searching for various Aventador interiors just to have a feel of what this might look like but I couldn't find much.

    I'm trying to achieve a classy/sport red look, what do you think? Any other suggestions?

    I have been enjoying seeing everyone's own creativeness going into customizing there Aventador! I love coming on here and checking out all the pics, and seeing everyone's ideas come alive !Hope to see more of everyone's projects and congrats on everyone's build and upcoming projects!👍

    Just a follow up on this topic, because I do believe where credit is due, it should be given. Often we hear of all the bad things that happen out there in the car world but we rarely hear when things get turned around. I'm going to credit this forum for assisting in this endeavor. The dealer apparently got word that this was an open topic of discussion and called me personally to try to rectify the situation. While it certainly does not resolve what transpired, they have bent over backwards to try to make this right. I have found another car and have moved on. Certainly still having feelings of whether a lawsuit should be pursued with the original dealer. However upon my subsequent conversations, they have extended the olive branch with a personal guarantee of discount on a future automobile that I would get consider extremely generous. While this does not make up for the shortsighted behavior by the sales manager at the time of arrival of my new vehicle. It certainly does restore my faith that these guys want to make the situation right. Thats it, we move on and look forward to future purchases. Thank you to several of you who helped out with the situation.

    Perfect no cel im very happy and the sound is insane !!!

    My ave is 720 so I don't know if there is a specific reprog for it anyway I will not install one only filters.

    Today I installed Capristo Test Pipes and Exhaust with no ECU reflash since I didn't felt difference in my other Ave but I hope I don't get cel codes.

     

    Any one had codes after test pipes ?

    You should be good.... I seen one with Capristo test and full exhaust no cell or any issues about a week ago! I asked the same question to the mechanic and his response was all good! Hope this will ease your mind a bit 😀 Congrats also sounds insane !!!!

    Congrats, can't wait to hear the clips when you're able to upload them.

     

    I found an installer so I'll be putting in my order either this week or early next week. I had a couple of questions if either you or RB could answer:

     

    1) Is the box tail just for looks or does it add anything for sound? If it made no difference I was just going to order it without the box tail (mainly because I prefer the flat factory look to the chrome look on my color combo).

     

    2) If I remember correctly you had the software upgrade on Blue prior to installing this one. Does it make any difference when changing the software with the KSG exhaust?

    1) box tail is for looks ! Great one at that ! 2) I like it better !Now I. Sport or corsa I can hit the remote close the valves stay quiet and enjoy better gear programs vs strada !For me being marries 1@5 suits me best !

    System works flawless with cat delete entire system !I have no words to describe the sound and feeling!!! It was amazing the sounds made changing gears and roars ! Would like to share a video but , have not learned how to upload yet ! Just wanted to let all know . ..no gas smell ... Just perfect! So no worries for anyone with any concerns!Feel free to ask any questions you may have towards this install !

    For some reason I took it as Valentino Balboni passed away ! So I text someone who has him doing an event! He text me back showing Balboni thanking him for his concerns !Thats why I said it was bs! I did not want to post specifics who where he will be ,, that's not cool! So that's why I was reserved on giving that info !!! And by no means do I think I'm better than anyone! I treat. Everyone the same !! Big misunderstanding !
