  1. I think a PPI is worthless. Best bet is to get a CPO car. Then you've got Lamborghini backing the car up should there be any problems. Sorry for your troubles. Hopefully you can enjoy the car come Spring.

+1 for CPO and the worthlessness of PPI. In the grand scheme of things paying a few more $$$$ for at least one year of CPO is totally worth it. Sometimes the dealer would even throw in a discount for the CPO.

  2. Hey guys, I'm not getting into another F-35 debate. I'm just tired of this Flanker fanboy BS and comparing apples with oranges.

What would classify as BS is investing a Trillion dollars (GAO estimate) and have nothing to show for it. Plus if we take the apples to oranges comparison it might mean the apple( F-35) would be rotten by the time one is hungry and thereby be unable to meet its basic purpose as food.

  3. In my experience it really depends on the cop if you get pulled over. One place where I have got tickets more often than not for not having front lic plate is LAX. No front plates on my Murci, just don't like the way they look.

  4. Strange thing, while coming to a stop light I pulled both the paddles up to get into neutral from 5(in Corsa mode) , the oil pressure sign came up and the engine stopped . I turned the ignition all the way down and then started again and the car started back up. Has not happened before. Does anyone have any insight into why this would happen .

    Thanks

  5. And Trump is pretty much a walking representation of that. And now he is basing his campaign on that. Dont get me wrong, i admire it. But too many slackers, idiots, and generally angry unsuccessful people are jealous, hate it, and would rather never see that.

I think you are mixing two entirely different issues. Trump is a successful businessman, some folks might agree and get into a business relationship or do business with him. Does Trump have serious ideas about domestic policy and more importantly foreign policy that make him a viable candidate to represent the Republican brand or the country, not many people would agree.

  6. I haven't laughed this loud in some time. For the sake of comical value I hope he gets into at least a few of the debates

    President Trump :

“I say that you can defeat ISIS by taking their wealth,” Trump told the Fox News Channel star. “Take back the oil. Once you go over and take back that oil, they have nothing. You bomb the hell out of them, and then you encircle it, and then you go in. And you let Mobil go in, and you let our great oil companies go in. Once you take that oil, they have nothing left.”

He continued: “I would hit them so hard. I would find you a proper general, I would find the Patton or MacArthur. I would hit them so hard your head would spin.”

But he refused to say whether he’d send American ground troops into Syria. “I’m not telling you anything,” he said to O’Reilly. “And the reason I’m not is because if I run and I win, I don’t want them to know the game plan.”

  7. I am not 100 % sure but I think it depends on the shop . I have had a few newer Benz's attached to a sniffer and at times older ones just attached to the remote reader. For the Murci(2009) I went to the shop that does the test via the reader and the tech did not even bother looking anywhere or attaching the sniffer.

  8. This is getting interesting :

    Trump highlights:

“I’m using my own money. I’m not using lobbyists. I’m not using donors. I don’t care. I’m really rich.”

Trump listed several foreign threats that he said are "beating America" in his speech. These included China, Japan, Mexico, which he said is sending immigrants across the border that are “not the right people,” and “Islamic terrorism.”

“I’m in competition with [iSIS]. They just built a hotel in Syria.”

“I am a nice person. People that know me like me,” Trump said. “Does my family like me? I think so.”

"I love the Saudis, many are in this building."

"I would call up the head of Ford, who I know, if I was president."

"I will be the greatest jobs president that God ever created."

  9. They said the same thing is the 90s. As soon as they wanted to turn a lot of these companies profitable, they died because people weren't willing to pay for it.

Look at Yelp. $3.29B market cap! No profits and its biggest competitor is Google.

Yes the 90's were indeed crazy. Folks were able to raise money for the most ridiculous of ideas. But there were people on the Street who called that out, just like a few did call out the housing bubble and made Billions.

BTW I wouldn't compare Yelp to GOOG. Google owns the internet with its search algo and is far more diversified, plus it could buy off Yelp in a heart beat.

  10. At least he is the only one that seems to understand that every company getting massive increases in stock value without any corresponding profit increases is a bubble.

If you're a capitalist, Amazon makes you think the market is a fcuking idiot that can't fix itself.

Might be a digression from the original topic, but AMZN stock price is all about future growth and margins. It is a bullish bet by some very sophisticated investors, but they might be proven wrong , who knows ! If anyone thinks AMZN is over valued they can always take the other side of the trade.

  11. At least he is the only one that seems to understand that every company getting massive increases in stock value without any corresponding profit increases is a bubble.

If Trump or anyone else thinks we have an asset bubble, I would assume he can make Millions or Billions(especially someone who we can assume knows how to use leverage) by placing the right bets.

  12. Im going to be in the minority here Im sure, but I like Rand Paul.

    +1 for Paul

He seems to be the sanest of all the clowns which includes Trump( arguably the loudest ) now.

So many people jumping into the fray makes me wonder if this is one way to live tax free and on OPM for a couple of years at least.

  13. Considering a Murci that has CCB, but is it true the CCB tend to squeak more?

I am not sure about more or less but they do squeak. They are also more grabby when cold but they do the job very well.

  14. You really think that you can punch someone at work at get away with it? I know where I work short of being physically attacked first if I throw a punch it is good bye work and hello being fired.

Is anyone going to hire a subordinate who just punched their last manager or co worker !

  15. I checked around 15 pages and couldn't find it, i know it's been discussed a zillion times.

08 640 with aftermarket exhaust, car was sitting at Martino's for a few months had to redo my front bumper and the winter storms didn't stop coming, i'm guessing the battery was shut off , i came to take it out today and all of a sudden the check engine light came on, If I remember correctly i used to get this on my yellow 03 murci and it would go away after driving it. any ideas guys?

I was told a loose fuel cap sometimes causes the check engine light to go off .

  16. I tried to do some search and didnt come up with much. I have always had manual sports cars and this is my first eGear. In manual transmissions you obviously lift throttle, engage clutch and after you lift clutch you apply throttle again. Unless you are powershifting which has its own issues. So in eGear for both normal driving around town where i shift around 3000-3500rpm and for hauling ass shifting at redline or close to it do you lift throttle before shifting or do you apply throttle the entire time. It just seems when you keep throttle the shift is a little more violent/snappy which not sure how good can be for different components. Just wanted to know if there is any official input from Lambo or is it just bro science?

    The car manual (book) states

    1. It is a good practice to change the gear without releasing the accelerator pedal if pressed

    2. It is good practice to wait until the gear change is complete before selecting the next one, in order to avoid multiple selection in quick sequence.
