What does it take to remove the connection[plug] at the throttle body. Removed the 2 screws holding it tried prying but still doesn't budge. Don't know how much pressure it takes to remove.

Thanks for the quick response. My problem is the wiring melted a little & left a couple of cracks to bare wire which I'm going to patch tape up so I can use the car.
The plug I'm worrying about is the one on the throttle body itself. It looks like a solid piece of rubber & don't know whether it can be replaced or wires removed. I was going to take it off, got the two screws loosened after 30-40 min wrestling with a mirror & a bit. Figuring it was going to be a real bitch trying to put it back I haven't pulled it completely off since I can do temporary fix without removing it. I'm probably going to pull it anyways to see what the plug looks like & see if it can be replaced. Then there's the question about getting the right color coded wire or not if I can get the ends. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Does anybody have the harness or know where to find the harness for the drivers side throttle body closest to firewall [not sure if all the same]. I called Glen told me it only comes on throttle body. If no harness available does anybody know of somebody that can repair it. I noticed the corrugated wire covering was starting to fall apart. when I went to replace it noticed wires looked like some of the covering was melted not sure how bad going to remove harness today.

After getting some good seat time in my SV, I have to agree with scud that the clutch doesn't catch until about 2000 rpm. I will have to bring this up next time I have the car at a dealership.
Overall impression: best drive of my life.
