Dallas Performance has the R8 record for about 6 months now at 238.
...there were reports that the speed were reading 5+ mph faster than what vbox was reading.... then it blew up... they tried to back it up in Portland around 30 days later it it blew up bad catching big fire...

It was on low boost because we were testing for a slipping clutch. It held on that pass so we turned it up and ran 210 and than 211 back to back. It had 1400 hp also. Thanks for the stories tho. Stop being a hater and just be happy for him. He has only ran the car at two events thats pretty good in my book.
..so the DP car owner never made an excuse about the clutch slipping...? and there is no clutch slipping problems from a car that just got upgraded at dallas performance that just was there for transmission shifting issues right after it was built the first time..? you sayin that DP didnt send someone to work on a car there in the atl metro..? they not stories... this is a small community.. complaints from the owner of the dallas performance lambo spreads fast..

Thats funny because Jason ran 211 with a stage 3 + and I ran 190 with a 1200 6 speed manual. Both cars have a street clutch and drive like stock. We had a blast Taylor did a awesome job and now we have a few more atlanta guys sending there cars there for turbo kits. WIN WIN for us. This our first race with this setup and have the rest of the year to dial it in. I will never be the fastest but I had the time of my life and cant wait to do it again.
...me thinks 211 not that fast for over 1500 whp in big tail wind.... good job though.. hey what about the GTR that beat you guys....whats the deal..? they posting something about u guys blowing up a clutch..using that for excuse? that the same car that DP had to come fix in atl from something breaking again.?

wait... is this the same guy that setup the phony 283 1 mile pass......? the word is Guinness book of world records was there and certified it but they were going off equipment that was setup by Johnny.. would be surprised if any top tuners waste their time there.... any record there wont mean anything without Vbox backup.

While someone can rig their car to run on a decoy meth tank in the 93 octane class - no one ever has - and mph should ferret them out.
..to easy to cheat in this kinda racin... you cant tell by mph either... can easily sandbag and just have enough mph then other cars you are racin..

I have one of his cars so I think I'm a little better judge. UGR is bad ass but Taylor is a great guy. We have a group in Atlanta that is growing strong with his cars. 3 right now soon to be 5-6. BTW Taylor has the R8 1/2 mile record so he can't be to bad.
...post up pics of these 3 DP cars in Ga... surly with the little group gathering u guys took some pics.. would love to see those cars... i love tt lambos.

..people there at that race where Dp went 237 in R8 say that speeds were reading 5 mph faster than vbox... not sure if that was true but either way... the DP R8 broke and then when they tried to back it up at the next race it blew up bad and caught fire...
same day.. same event... UGR R8 beat the DP R8 bad....every time... that a fact boss. beat it at TI... beat it at sulfer springs 1/2... beat it in portland 1/2..

I know I just always try to see both sides of the fence. I am competitive but dont have the money to be on the level of most of you guys. I will be happy with my 1250rwhp for now. Taylor has been good to me so far and I have no reason to doubt him. I have talked to Kevin and KC also and they were also nice to me. I just want to be able to go to the races and have fun without drama or shit talking. At the end of the day we all have one thing in common Lamborghinis are our passion.

Agreed. Competition is great for the consumer. I look forward to the upcoming season! Would love to see some +200mph 1/4 mile runs.
....better ask DP consumers if its been great to them over the last 5 years trying to keep up with underground and heffner....

Taylor is a nice guy and you guys are just being plan dicks. UGR does have the Lamborghini records but that is no reason to act this way. I would rather see both of these new blocks in cars racing next year. Competition is a great thing it makes you push the limits and further the sport. 2017 will be a great racing year and I cant wait to start.
they are no competition.. you must have not went to any races were they are both present... besides that... DP has some unhappy customers that are calling other tuners for help... they tired of blowing up tryin to keep up with the competition. broken promises from DP about beating underground... so DP takes all the money and they get destroyed by underground and on top of that.. most all the Dallas performance race cars are blowing up.. whos the dick now...? thats robbery imo...

I actually took a tour of their shop over the summer. They seem like a great group of guys, I didn't think they've had so many problems. I saw the prince of Dubai's lambo and I was like "oh shit they know their shit." Maybe it's the fact that I was surrounded by my second favorite platform....idk
