The Murcielago top is cumbersome but once you get used to is, it's not bad to put on and remove. I can do it in 11 minutes.
11 minutes?? Amateur hour! Recent road trip in my '09 Roadster it started snowing (Colorado) and a buddy and I had it on in FOUR minutes. Its nothing!
To anyone considering the Roadster, don't fear the top. A) Its not that bad. Really, seriously. Odds are this is AT LEAST your 3rd car and you're not going to be driving it often anyways... who cares?
Topless all day baby!

I bought my Gallardo from Mile's End as well, phenomenal people to do business with. Was fortunate to see this Reventon in person in September, although to my knowledge it is now sold. If you're in the market, I'd maybe consider getting in touch with them to see if he can get his hands on another one?

I financed my Gallardo. I'm in the industry and have access to some pretty outrageous terms, so it made more sense for me to keep money in investments than tied up in a car. That said, I put about half down, and could pay it off "at will" if shit hit the fan.
There's no right way to do it, but there are plenty of "wrong" ways to do it. Don't overextend yourself with a car like this. A surprise repair can cost 5-figures.

Very cool.
What happens when you go faster than 50mph?

Great choice on components, I've used similar setups for years. I have to ask though, did you get a chance to listen to the JL13TW5? Its a 13" woofer that is specifically made for slimmer enclosures like this one, that offers much more versatility than the 10" cones and can hit some lower Hz as well. More sound, greater quality, smaller enclosure, less weight, and frankly, less expensive! Just curious is all!
Dealer etiquette?
