  1. I have added some body color to the front bumper, more specifically the vertical fin on the side and some parts on the intakes ... looks more like the capture from the dashboard in the video now ... I also did an interior with blue details for you ...

That is exactly what I wanted to see. I much prefer this look. If I was so lucky to afford one of these, I'd demand it that way!

    Great work as always.

  2. 16k miles. No way in hell your rotors should need replacing unless you have 16k of track miles or damaged them somehow.

That even seems early for pads. I'd make sure it is not a bad sensor giving a false positive.

  3. I like the antiquated F1 LP egear just fine. It doesn't shift the fastest but at least it still feels like something is actually happening.

My friend with a Mac 570 thought my LP was faster by the butt dyno and sound. Clearly it is not but it actually stimulates some senses.

The 570 is technically impressive but zzzzzzz. Might as well drive it in auto all the time since it feels like an auto and pulling the paddles doesn't actually feel like you did anything at all.

  4. Location tracking I think is within reason. Reading every text, email or chat is a bit intrusive for a good kid...I agree that it would likely be detrimental for the relationship you have built thus far. It would probably make you miserable as well. Do you really want to know every little detail?

I might install the app and tell him about it. I would then make a deal that I do not use it unless given a reason. I would also let him know if/when I was planning to use it and why.

Instill just a little bit of fear to keep them on the straight and narrow. :)

Good luck. I am not looking forward to this stuff!

  5. Have you put in a newer map disk, which in turn did a software update? While not super likely, it could have updated some settings in the radio. More than likely the Bluetooth box is not functioning and needs to be replaced. Personally, I'd go aftermarket so you can stream audio.

  6. I sat in it recently.

My main takeaway is that the interior was excellent but way too small and cramped. That is coming from a current Audi SQ5 owner who thinks that is getting a bit small. It seems cavernous, relatively speaking.

I also like my SUVs to be on the boxy side, ala Range Rover and G wagon, so the look was good but not amazing for me. I'd stay away from boring colors. In dark grey it really did not have the impact it should.

22" wheels look undersized. 23" is a must IMO.

If you are in the market for a sedan, this would be fine. If you actually want an SUV to haul kids and their stuff around, probably not. Decent size cargo area for groceries and such.

It is a cool but impractical SUV...kind of defeats the purpose of driving a box. But then you can still say you are driving an impractical Lamborghini!
