    LNIB Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 44MM rose gold novelty 26400RO. Watch is like brand new, still under factory warranty (I'm the original owner and had purchased it new from Cellini NYC, wore rarely and carefully, and it still has all the factory protective stickers). It's in perfect condition and truly one of the most beautiful AP watches ever made. The ceramic bezel is a must for people who want to keep their watches looking like new.

     

    Complete set with the recently updated AP boxes, AP green tag, and both AP books. Watch and I are located in NYC/NJ and F2F deal is preferred but not necessary.

    Reached Miami a few hours ago. Almost 24 hours of travelling! Only one thing on my mind though :). But I've got to confirm things quickly cause I'll be purchasing air tickets to Charlotte. Lets see how it pans out.

     

    I assume vacation with the wife and kids and you are looking for air plane tix for NC...that's dedication! Hope it works out for you...

    I feel the same…it’s already been almost a week since I heard the sad news and I still can’t stop thinking about it. Like a lot of you mentioned, I normally feel sad, but the news passes. Not this time.

    I think it’s the combo of seeing him star in a movie that actually had to do with the car scene (more or less the first of its kind), and the fact that we’ve been seeing him show up in those films since 2001.

    That then you add the combo of all these stories coming out about what a great guy he was…I mean, the fact that he’s a pretty well know actor and he hangs out with normal car scene people is pretty awesome as-is. Then you add the fact that he has done so much for charity (and quietly at that) really drives it home. I don’t think I have read anyone say anything bad about his character. Everyone loved him and it speaks volumes.

    I've read some mixed reviews about chapparone online - some amazing and fantastic, other absolute nightmares.

     

    Besides being your friend, has he done any work for you?

     

    I'm on the east coast but visited SD a few months ago. Him being my friend aside, the shop is sick. Much different than how some bodyshops operate around here. Computer controlled paint rooms, etc. I'd go visit and make your own judgement.

    Okay - I have a few questions for those who are in the know and/or have done this sort of work to any of their cars in the past:

     

    1) Do you know of any reputable or recommended vehicle wrap places/individuals in the San Diego area?

     

    2) Is there anything I should be looking for with regard to vinyl wrap material or questions I should ask the installer about how the work is done?

     

    3) What should I anticipate paying for a well done wrap job?

     

    4) I was thinking of powdercoating the wheels a shiny black to go with a matte black wrap or a clear frost wrap (over black paint on the car). Is powdercoating the best option for wheels, or is painting better? Is there a quality or appearance difference between powdercoating and painting on a wheel?

     

    5) What should I be looking for with regard to quality of work on wheel painting? Any questions to ask the person doing the work? What should I expect to pay for said work?

  24. Aftermarket Exhaust Question

    Talking about exhuast systems, has anyone ever heard a recording of a LOC/LNB exhuast on a 560? If so, any feedback?

     

    Fadi - do they make one for the 560? If so, I'd imagine it will sound pretty similar. Can't think of a reason otherwise. I know Fabspeed makes an exhaust for the 560.
