  1. Hi all,

I want to remove the fan shrouds from my car to bring it to a powder coating company.

As usual on these cars the downside of the shrouds get rusty after some years because the water gather there.

I untightened all screws and tried to remove the shrouds but i noticed that there is not much space to get these out of the car.

Any ideas or guys who removed them before??

Would be very helpful! Maybe it´s only possible thru the wheel arches but that means radiator removal... maybe too much headache!

But i will use new screws for the shrouds, these are getting rusty and the lower ones are than nearly impossible to remove!

Hope i get some input here.

    Regards,

    Lambo-Leo

  2. Hey,

I just reproduced some decals for Diablos.

If anybody needs them let me know.

I compared the orange SV color with original stickers and they 100% identical.

Also the trunk decal match perfect (picture left original, right reproduction)

Sorry for the bad picture quality.

    Best Regards

    Leo

  3. Hello,

I´m looking for which OEM are correct for the different Diablo models.

Please post your covers and which Diablo model you have!

Here are some different covers for SE30s. I´m looking which covers are correct for Diablo Roadster 1997 and Diablo SV 1999.

I could buy 2x different OEM covers so i want to be sure which one is correct.

    Hope anyone can help me!

    Best Regards

  4. Yes i also tried Lamborghini. They send me a really ugly china copy for 85€.

I looks like a leather shift knob from a VT but without the numbers on it.

Really a shame! They don´t care about vintage Lamborghinis!

Now i disassembled my shift knob, cleaned it and re-chromed the parts.

It looks now good... But still looking for a new one!

    Best Regards

You tried Lamborghini themselves? I got my SE30 one from them for a very reasonable price

  5. This thread is going to piss off EVERY SINGLE '99 SV owner!

'99s are not REAL SV's! They are just 2WD VT's. The real SV's are the pop up cars.

Pop-up SV's have thin CF seats with alcantara and no padding. Naked CF door skins, naked CF sills and console. No ABS, no lift kit, no air bags, no adjustable suspension, no stereo, no ashtray, no interior lights, etc, etc. Also, the offset wheels (17 at the front, 18 at the rear) totally transform the steering agility too.

'99s have ABS, air bags, leather, padding, lift kit, adjustable suspension, all the VT luxuries and so on. They are 2WD VTs! So what if they have an extra 20bhp over the earlier, PROPER SV's? It's still not enough to cart around all the extra weight!

I have spent a fair bit of time behind the wheel of two different '99 SV's. They both felt identical to each other and NOTHING like my '96 built ('97MY) SV. My pop-up SV feels light, agile and like it's dancing on its toes. The '99's felt cumbersome and heavy.

So tired of seeing all these praise of the '99 SV's from people that have never driven both and compared them.

Below is the door skin of my pop-up SV - what does the door skin on your '99 SV look like?

My door skin of my 99 SV is also full carbon! So please relax. Every Diablo is nice. Hate this comparison "this is bad this is good".

Everybody has is own opinion in things. We aren´t 18 years old kids.

  6. Yes, H. Pagani was in charge of the SE30 project and I believe it was the first Lambo to use this material. Front and rear bumpers, side skirts, front hood and slated engine bay cover. Much better than the F40 quality.

I collect any SE30 only parts - I have the small side glass, the 4 point blue seat belts with 30th pads, an original SE30 steering wheel with center, new rubber front spoiler lip, the front flash lights (both sets) a complete set of SE30 rims, complete with center caps and titanium bolts, the CF fins on the side rockers, the SE 30th script, and a few other odds and ends.

I did “pass” on the bumpers, rear quarter panel, and broken rim ..….

The bumpers comes from the red SE30 which was wrecked in Dubai right?

  7. Beautiful car Emilio. Congrats!

A blu scuro 6.0 would be THE perfect Diablo in my book.

Here is my blue scuro 97,5 Diablo Roadster. Same like Emilio´s only interior is another colour.

It called "grigio met." in my manual. I think it was a special customer choice.

Also different to 96 or 97 cars is the airbag and the exhaust and some small stuff...

  8. Hi Emilio,

I think you can buy these stickers from eurospares:

    http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partTablePopUp.asp?ID=1755347

But i need the sticker which is on the transparent plastic part which safe the relais against water or dirt. (on the left side if you stay behind the car.):

As you know, this picture is from your car, do you can reproduce also this one? It´s missing on my car and i think it´s no more available.

    Best Regards

    Leo
