    Its pretty easy honestly if you use an air tool to just trim a little bit. The rear frame of the LP cars is slightly different than the Pre-LP cars. It just needs a little trimming, then have someone help hold it while you trace the outline out on the frame with a pencil for a perfect fit.

     

    Most of the engine cover fits really well since its essentially the same car.

     

    Another question, how about the those two shield on the side? Did you try that too may be ??

    I came up with this idea last year and added the engine cover to my PRE-LP car. It wasn't that difficult. A buddy helped trim it for me and then I drilled some small mounting holes into the frame and its perfect up to at least 180mph that I'm aware of, lol.

     

    You can really only add the rear engine cover and none of the other pieces are worth modding since they are covered pretty well anyhow.

  6. possible for the odometer to show KMH instead of MPH?

    Hi guys,

     

    As many of you know I parallel imported my car from the UK and the digital odometer shows MPH, while in our country everything shown should be in KMH.

     

    Now is there a setting, or a button or something that I can press that can change what's shown to KMH?

     

    I could do this in my previous cars by just going into the setup section in the center console. I was just wondering if I could possibly miss something somewhere and it turned out to be an easy conversion....

     

     

    Here the KMH Dial conversion backplate.. its not expensive itself, but the labour?!?!?

    anyone tried akrapovic exhausts? i ordered a slip-on for my lp570-4. will post in a few weeks. thanks. (new member from philippines)

    Man those 670 knock off seats look amazing. but I am nervous about purchasing a seat from a relativly unknown supplier. At least with the Sparco/Recaro there are OEM ties and Countless race application. At least in my case I want a sport seat in my G to allow me to fit with a helmet on. Id only have the helmet on to be an the track. The seat needs to be strong and functional first even over looking stock IMO :).

     

    They are legit, brought good made carbon mirror, side skirt in twill dry carbon from them. No idea on the seat tho..

     

    Always buy thru local reseller tho... They take care all the shxt !!

    Nice fitment... can't wait to fit it on my spyder.. btw, i just drop off everything to the bodyshop, can you also pm me what to look at when install..tks.. really nice..

     

    The orange washer looks fine... people just not used to it.. look at it couple more times guys..

     

    Need carbon mirror for sure..

    Yes it will change some but the o2 sensor can more then adj. for the change in exhaust & filter. It will run a new self learn when oil temp and coolant temps are above 90c. and the purg it off. There is nothing you need to do the car will do it on its own when the conditions are right. Once it runs a new self learn ideal should be normal. Glad you like it.

     

    I tried clear it , but my OBD scanner saids, error clearing the code, turn key on and engine off and try again....etc

     

    The light did went away once, only once, but on ever since...

     

    Tried cheaper gas , still no help.

    any symptom? how is the engine running? idle ok?

     

    may just be a sensor issue. i'd agree that you can erase and see if it comes back.

     

    i'd also check if anything around the manifold is loose - vaccuum line etc. also, see if switching to different brand of gas helps.

     

    The engine running ok accept some nervous at idle, bouncing a little, stall once.

     

    I will try clear it and sees what happen.
