Good luck with it all!
Australia would be an excellent place to have a site like this too, (maybe register a .com.au for it), everyone loves to complain here, yet they don't actually want to do anything about it theirselves.

Wow, I'm blown away at the videos, so much destruction.
Mother nature doesn't appear to be happy at present

Those pictures are of an accident that happened in Sydney Australia 6 to 8 months ago.
I knew I'd seen those pics somewhere before, that's a Sydney taxi plate no doubt about it.

Those pictures are more interesting to me than the finish product
It looks like you guys are building in a similar fashion they do it here.
How do you attach the brick cladding to the outside of the house? Metal ties to the frame? Is the outside brick cladding load bearing?
Same here! Do they still use plasterboard sheets do you think? I'm just wondering because the horizontal battens accross the studs aren't the way we do it in Aus, actually that would be the reason why they dont put noggins in their wall frames.
It doesn't look like it's been bricked though because of the sisalation wrap at the moment though, the different construction techniques definitely are interesting.

Fortis, I just stumbled across this thread, I'm in the building industry in Australia too and am very interested to see what you're coming up with here!
I'm building my first development now using traditional methods and would love to see something to cut the time down for construction, keep us posted on your progress and all the best with it!
