  1. Insightful review and completely agree with all your comments with the exception of the gearshift which didn't bother my wife as she was used to the button park feature on her previous SUV. I think RR did a really nice job on the Sport SS. We're also really happy with it so far. And congrats on the little one.....

  2. For what its worth, Wiggs has sent me pics earlier of some custom parts on the TTSV that look sick might I add & a pic of customers lambo next to his giant sport chassis at his new shop.

Ask him for a pic of the intake.....

If the Lambo in the pic is Robert or Scott's is just a photo shoot.....both have told UGR they would never let David mechanically touch their car.

  3. Oh how I hope you are telling the truth!!!! :lol2:. You just made my day!!

    Again, thank you!!

David, you can try to sue IPS all day long over your non-disparage. Go ahead and depose me....in fact I'll be in Columbus quite a bit this year, so I look forward to hearing from your attorney you dumb-ass.

  4. I realize that you would like to purport rumor, innuendo, and 3rd party guesses as fact; however, if you would like to gain actual facts, you are more then welcome to call either me or Nate at the shop and we'll gladly assist you. Maybe I can even help you lease your Lambo to a new buyer.

I did open my shop on June 1st and I've been so busy with getting all of the jobs lined up and things moved over that Stig was delayed somewhat. I didn't mention CTD on Lambo power because I will be a sponsor soon and didn't want to break any of the forum rules regarding that.

As far as the motor, livernois does NOT have the motor nor are the building it. I happen to have it in my possession currently. Also, claiming that I have some how 'stolen' or 'defrauded' a company is an accusation that's way above your pay grade. I suggest you call said company and check again. For someone who is so convinced of the builds failure, you sure seem to take a lot of interest in the specifics! :lol2:

I will keep everyone updated as the final bits of Stig are finished as well as all of the other exciting Lambo projects CTD is doing (4 Gs, an lp570, 3 Aventadors and more). Things have just been so busy with the business and getting the new 35,000 sqft facility finished (with dynos, cnc machine) as well as the private exotic car storage complex underway, I haven't been on here that much!

Good luck with your sale Jamie...

This is not a '3rd party guess'. I've received numberous calls directly from IPS and others directly involved in your 'build'.

You may have some Lambos coming to your shop for photoshoots, tires balancing, and audio work, but nobody is letting Nate touch anything with a wrench.

But speaking of rumors, how about we start on the bullshit you posted on cbus racing about UGR and Scott's 'broken built trans'.

  5. There seems to be a lot of weird stuff going on, and unfortunately we'll probably never hear the real story.

Correct. The reason why he brought the SV to a Corvette/Camaro shop in Columbus along with his 'tech" Nate (originally to be branded as a separate 'high end' shop) was creative to say the least. Then when the LS shop realized after 6 months that his lead tech was full of shit, they basically told him they no longer wanted to be associated with a certain failure. David pulled everything out (apparently also with an unpaid $30k bill), and started his own 'shop' the next day. Livernois is building the motor (Mustang shop), Liberty is doing the trans, and although both are reputable shops within their community, neither has any experience doing these types of builds, nor any vested interest in continuing a support program. Not to mention the laughable tuning choice Nate is recommending David use. It's pretty clear from day one this was never going to end well....

  6. That Colombus forum is retarded. I tried registering and have never had to fill out so much shit and wait for moderator approval before you can even view a thread.

There were some pretty visible street racing incidents in the past couple years with some members that unfortunately led the site to change for the worse.

  7. Can we post the good parts here? I dont feel like joining another forum...

I'm on the road, but maybe someone else can cut and paste the highlights? I'm not sure which part was worse - Wiggins declaring he has already beat a UGR Gallardo with a car that is in pieces or 17 year old kids making him look like an even bigger jackass....

  8. This thread could get a lot of views if we can get the updates copied over to this thread.

There were 50+ pages and 30k local hits of kids laughing at Wiggins talk about how fast his unicorn will be. It's far too long of a thread to copy and paste. Wiggins quickly disappeared when Kevin introduced himself the other week.

  9. Dude..... You LIED about seeing the trailer on Monday... TWICE!!!! That's not spinning things, that's just telling it like it is.

YOU are the king of spin. Anyone with half a brain can see this. Looks like your suspicions were wrong again. "Hurt" cars don't do 221 mph on low boost. Lol!!!!

Why in the hell would I LIE about seeing their trailer in front of the Omni? Were you there Monday afernoon? For all we know, someone forgot their panties and needed to swing back. Who gives a shit.

As for the 'hurt' car, that was their customer car, you dumbshit.

Like I said earlier, I feel bad for the types of nutswingers and customers ASS attracts. They are too passionate of a company to deserve 'half brain' guys like yourself trying to associate themselves with GTR records.

  10. What the fcuk is wrong with you guys? I am sure ASS, Swiss, SPE and all the other BIG shops put out quality stuff.

I remember the Heffner vs UGR days where 90% of the board, Allan included (of course) was bashing the hell out of them. "How many CUSTOMER cars are out right now?" "Heffner has proven reliability, what the hell has UGR done?" etc etc etc. I saw it from the first moment that they built quality kits and were pushing the envelope of the G. If it wasn't for UGR people would still be driving their 800HP GTT around the block not knowing where the REAL limits were.

More shops = better for the consumers PERIOD. Petter pricing, faster turn around times, better customer service to keep their reputation in the tuning industry, better warranties and seeing where the limit is with THEIR money so some crazy guy doesn't have to spend 400k with a shop to see how much the trans, engine, diffs +++ can handle in a given car.

"Ohh that broke, that broke" Are you guys serious? If something breaks GREAT, then X-shop can fix it and put it out a BETTER product to the market. If nothing brakes the tuning industry would have stock EVERYTHING. If something BREAKS some shops make it BETTER so it won't break!

Agree, more shops the better. But not every shop can choose their customers I guess.....but it is interesting to compare UGR/Swiss/SPE/Heffner/ASS customers....as for the most part, they are all pretty different.

  11. The ASS shop drag car had some issues, FALSE. It had ONE issue. Going too fast for the front under tray. Replacing some brackets fixed that.

It ran well for a couple passes, FALSE. It ran well for MORE than a couple passes. 9.2, 8.7, 8.6 and 8.6. That is more than a couple

so something doesn't add up. FALSE. It has been explained. No mystery.

Actually I saw their trailer with some of the guys in front of the Omni Monday afternoon as I was leaving..... FALSE. It has been parked at Hennessey since Sunday when ASS left

I didn't look inside their trailer asshole....just stating a fact the rig was at the Omni Monday afternoon. I don't give a shit. FALSE. See above.

Looks like it is pretty clear that you can't count, add, or see straight. And that is just from this single thread.

Again, nothing I said was untrue. You can spin it however you would like. Got to love the ASS nut swingers.....!

  12. Jamie, I understand I am not asking you to be friends with any of our customers. I am merely asking that you stop spreading rumors or posting things that are not true in regards to our shop. Again this is how we make our living, this isn't a hobby for us. I am sure you can respect that.

It's a fair request. For my own clarification, what part of my post is not true?

The ASS shop drag car had some issues (TRUE?), but nothing serious(TRUE?). It ran well for a couple passes(TRUE?), but they got out of it on the next pass (TRUE?) and then abruptly packed it up before the semi-finals of the class (TRUE?). They had the other cars in that GTR class by almost a second (TRUE?), so something doesn't add up (ASSUMPTION).

I think you are referring to their lambda lambda lambda and the lambda lambda lambda and the lambda lambda lambda and the lambda lambda lambda and the omega mu mu mu mu customer car, Tim Sanders, which blew (MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE SAID 'HURT' AS I UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE NOT PULLED IT OUT TO FIND OUT THE CAUSE OF THE ISSUE YET) its motor last week. At least he got a couple weeks out of it on pump gas after waiting patiently for two years (TRUE?).

  13. We packed the car up because we had a 7:50 flight and had to get everything packed up and get on the road to get to the airport. As it was we were almost late to the gate. Would you like to see my boarding pass too lol.

The car is still in the trailer at Hennesseys right now waiting for the crew to pick it up tomorrow and drive to the mile and run it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with lambda lambda lambda and the lambda lambda lambda and the lambda lambda lambda and the lambda lambda lambda and the omega mu mu mu mu. We tried one pass at more boost but the car just wouldn't hook up.

We never go to TX2K to win the elimination rounds. Look at years past. We put up a good time then pack it up. For us its all about putting up the best time there....that's it.

I don't know where this UGR vs us thing started but its just like the us vs swiss cheese crap. We have NO problems with any shop yet for some reason customers like yourself do you damnedest to discredit or talk crap ALL because this is FUN for you.

This is our livelyhood Jamie, this is how we pay our bills and put food on our families tables. What is just a game for you with all this hearsay bullshit is damaging to our company and as such to MY FAMILY and the families of those that work at ASS.

Please stop and find a new target, I thought you wanted to put this behind us? what happened to that?

    Eric

As I've said before, I have no issue with ASS. Nor does UGR or swiss cheese. I thought your shop car was extremely impressive on the track in difficult conditions. As it sits today, I have no doubt that car can get into the 40's with much better traps on a different track.

It's obvious I don't care for a couple of your customers and their constant (and typically ignorant) nutswinging. If they were BL customers - I would be giving them the same shit. Nothing personal against ASS - and if you notice - I never reply to an ASS post unless it's to congratulate you. I have never taken this stuff serious and nor should anyone else. But frankly, if I were Martin, I'd ask a couple of these guys to lay low as they are not the type of representives you want cheerleading ASS. You guys deseve better than that.

Looking forward to seeing you all in Dallas next month. There is no question your shop car is going to give my car a really good run.

  14. that's not what you said.. you said BROKE.. the car did not BREAK ..

    Allan ,

The A_M_S car is running perfectly and will run in 3 days at the Mile.. The car is in a trailer , there are zero A_M_S crew in TX , they put the car after the last pass in the trailer and went straight to the airport to catch a flight.. not complicated.

not sure why you trying to say something that is not true....

    [/size]

Actually I saw their trailer with some of the guys in front of the Omni Monday afternoon as I was leaving.....

  15. Personally I dont care who you are friends with.. A car with a chute.. no rear view mirrors, lightened interior etc is not a street car.. You cannot drive it off the track that way and drive it home.. And I have it on SEVERAL accounts that the car BROKE.. Just cause it is running Texas Mile this week, doesnt mean it wont need fixing to do so..

So I can continue to PISS...

Not to mention.. For the amount of power it was running over the SPE car.. ITS NOT VERY IMPRESSIVE..

The ASS shop drag car had some issues, but nothing serious. It ran well for a couple passes, but they got out of it on the next pass and then abruptly packed it up before the semi-finals of the class. They had the other cars in that GTR class by almost a second, so something doesn't add up.
