  1. Matte is a color that must be seen in person. It looks great in photos if taken in the right lighting. My Matte 560, when following behind it or beside going down the highway looked incredible to me. It gives off no reflection but instead gives off a shade difference, that's hard to explain. It almost, while going down the road doesn't look real, sort of reminds me of watching something in HI DEF 3D animation.

That LP 700 will look 1000 times better in person, IMO

  2. No, not yet. Of course everything could change once behind the wheel or simply seeing it in person. That's just my opinion based off of what I've seen.

As far as the looking like the Murci, I really don't think it's JUST like it, (or like the G for that matter), but it most certainly has a close resemblance in many ways. Like I said, it's not the same wild design jump as we saw from the old 400GT to the Miura, to the Countach, to the Diablo. It seems too much like an Audi.

Again... This opinion is subject to change - I'm not settling on anything. Opinions/feelings change as time goes on. I do like the looks of it... But still unsure whether it should be the flagship.

But still unsure whether it should be the [ flagship] ???

It’s fast, this car. Very, very fast. Considerably quicker than the old Murciélago around here (considerably faster than the Gallardo, too) and much easier to drive. Likely to be designated LP700-4 (700PS, 4wd), we won’t know it’s full name until it’s unveiled at the Geneva show in March (top tips are Jota and Aventador). What we do know now are the details of its engine, gearbox and carbonfibre chassis. The latter means the production model should weigh around 1500kg – about 160kg lighter than the Murciélago, though the whisper is it will use plastic body panels rather than carbon.
