  1. So tell us... If you can't figure out that those stupid looking bumpers COME OFF, how are you going to handle the serious stuff?

Honestly dude, you don't have a clue. These things aren't Hondas or Toyotas and you can't pick up parts for them at PepBoys. They're trying to HELP you if you'd just pay attention.

No taking them off is not the problem. Finding a euro bumper for the front is hard to find. And on the rear you will have two big holes in the lower body after you remove it.

But you can get some parts at your part store. It sounds strange but a friend gets some stuff from there.

I do no a lot of stuff you would have to order if they can still get it. The only thing is even if the car is perfect

one day it will break down. Even if you buy a new Lambo lets say $250k someday you will spend more money

and never get out of it what you have in it.

  2. Why go through the headache of fixing junk. Its very hard on getting parts for the older Lambos. Save your money, and buy a Lambo in good shape. It will be worth it.

Its hard to find them without that stupid looking U.S. bumber on them.

  3. Dude, you are living beyond your means. You are aiming for a budget car in the hopes that it has 'just been serviced', 'needs nothing' simply because the seller said that. Do yourself a favor, do your homework, don't rush into anything, save up, and buy the right car. Not some bootleg car from some schiester auction site.

The reality is you should be thanking us for saving you from making a $50,000 mistake. Because when you buy that Countach that was totaled by a Schwinn, I think you are going to find that you are going to have to BUY your way out of the car.

Think about it man...If the owner of this black car that you could see the white through only spent $500 at Macco to repaint it. Imagine how much they spent to make the structural and body repairs correct!

Thank you. See is a reasonable guy. And that car is gone. I do understand to get a really good Countach you need to spend aleast $100k. But if you buy one for $50 and put $50 into it want is the difference.

  4. Right now you have a kit car budget. If you want to buy a real Lamborghini in good shape expect to spend more than $50-$60,000. So far you showed us that you can buy junk for $50-$60g's

Just because there are some Countach that havent been took care of doesnt mean they shouldnt be restored

  5. You sir, Are an idiot.

Please paint your hypothetical $25,000 countach. Then come back here and please post the car information so it may be red flagged by every notable car collector, enthusiast, and boy racer.

I applaud your tenacity :eusa_clap: even the mentally deficient get the ball in the cup once and a while.

    P.S SWEET signature Randy

Once you become an adult then we can talk.

  6. So has Macco. Doesnt mean I would have them paint a countach

I can paint sorry that you cant. For some reason you guys think if it says Lamborghini only gods can work on them. Come down to it they are just a car thats it. So get it out of your head and try to work them yourself

    dont be scared.

  7. So, after they painted it white after the wreck, white was showing through the white? Your comment makes 100% no sense.

Your comment that a paint job is easy to do shows your ignorance. Painting these cars is exteemly difficult. TO do the job right, costs major dollars and lots of time.

No your wrong painting one of these cars would be easy. And wouldnt cost anymore then any other car.

Sorry about that it was white they painted it black but you could still see white showing threw

  9. which car is it?

You post two links with two different cars

No I didnt same car. After it was wreck they painted it white and did a shity job on it. You could still see white

showing threw and had runs all over it. Which a paint job is easy to do and someone needs shot for the crap

    they did on that car.

  10. General rule is if you get a stinking good deal on a Lambo, the upfront costs is going to be more than made up on repair/restoration costs. Still, I wish you luck finding what you want and I hope you don't get taken for a ride.

Thank you and will post as soon as I get something

  11. I have bid on a lot of stuff in auctions, and somethings I was out bid on. Your max bid was $64K. You cant figure out you didnt almost win the car? Value of anything is based on what people are willing to pay, you were willing to pay to little for what someone wanted to pay more than you.

But if you look at it like that. People are trying to sale there cars for they think its worth not what others think its worth and thats why they are not selling.

  12. you didnt almost win shit.

So are you saying $25 was to much. It to hard to find a Countach without those ulgy ass bumpers on them. And the salvage title was because a bicycle hit it. Plus Im not trying to get a Lamb to resale because seems like thats what everyone thinks about. Your going to be upside down and never sale it for what you got in it.

I dont care Im not going to sale it.

  13. Me too. I guess Tony2ta just took him out of the market. I don't know why people do that. You will probably miss out on some good buys while you figure out you have been "low balled". A 60k Diablo needs 20k worth of work, and then you could have bought a nice one for 80k all ready to go.

Im just trying to find one since the market is down before it goes up where I can even touch them.

Almost had a 85 Countach for $25K then a guy bid againest us we stopped bidding at $64k. And the car had a Salavage title need repainted and an engine out needed to be done. Im not worried about putting

money into it if I can get it for a right price.

  14. do you have the link to this post, or have pictures of these "mint" Diablos? And not just one, but two "mint" Diablos.

No I dont Tony2ta was the one telling me about them from ferrari chat.

  15. If you find one in good shape at that price, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! BUY IT!

I am curious, how did you come up with that price point?

Usually, at that price you will need to put some $$$$$$ into it. Parts are becoming more difficult on the CT and starting to become scarce for the DIablo. Prices on parts have risen drastically. And, you will need to find someone to work on these cars that is competent (unless you can do it yourself).

    Best of luck.

A guy from ferrari chat said that his friends just bought a 91 from Lambo of Las Vegas and the 92 in San Jose, NorCal. And both were just bought their about a month ago $ 55k each. T hey're in MINT condition. One of them is already has new clutch and fully service done. And I missed out on one that was for 60k

and had all service paper work and all the stuff the needed to be fixed was.
