The supposed race becomes "may have been speeding"
Two cars nearly side by side at 25mph over the speed limit. Racing???? Unpossible.
How do the estimate speeds? It's called physics, perhaps you should read up on it.
-
Here is a list of speeding and reckless driving - many of the states listed do not consider 70 in a 45 to be reckless. Arizona does, but only barely - 65 in a 45 is the minimum for a reckless charge there.(in green) means the law does not define a particular speed as reckless.
In other words, 70 in a 45 could be a reckless dependent on the situation. Not knocking you, and its not relevant to the situation, just pointing out that most states leave the door open
Yeah now the media says "MAY HAVE BEEN SPEEDING"Is that all it says?
Witnesses told investigators the two cars were traveling at high speeds. Authorities estimate the cars were going up to 70 mph. -

The facts are coming in
so where are these facts coming from, if not from robert? Do share.

Nearly all street races that end in a death are charged as second degree murder. Whether it sticks or not is up to the prosecution, defense and jury.
I'd say Blueballs chances of escaping 2nd aren't very good, given the circumstances.
-
You are assuming they can PROVE that these two were racing. I'd say that is very much an uncertainty, especially at only 70mph. I'd be surprised.
Since when does speed have anything to do with the fact that you were racing?

The forums who let ANYTHING go
which forums are these?
The closest thing I know of on a medium to large size that unmoderated, in 4chan. Even that has moderators to remove some illegal stuff.
There are certainly no enthusiast type forums that are unmoderated.

BTW, murder will never stick.
2nd degree sure as hell will.
One incident? Shit like this happens on a weekly basis across the country.
When you start telling people what they can and cannot discuss and start trying to remove the vein of the culture from the forum, you will kill it.Forums aren't telling people what not to discuss for the members own good, they're doing it for the OWNERS own good.
Ve++eforums and cz28.com, for example, have removed street kill stories sections long ago for the sake of LIABILITY, not trying to prevent its members from doing it.
-
Couldnt the website be held somewhat accountable for PROMOTING street racing?
I know many other forums have removed kill stories sections as a "just in case"

That Novitec would destroy a TT Gallardo.

The Skyline has always bee under rated in the HP department. I'm not saying the numbers are true. But I think everyone here knows the possibilities of a 6 turboed car.
And after nissans laughable Nurburgring claim I'm not holding my breath for any more numbers

Is at the hubs the new cool way to refer to whp? hhp?
I believe this is a 'compact' dyno where you remove the wheels, and in their place mount the dyno to the axle hub.
Could be wrong though, either way, I doubt those numbers

I'm thinking about doing something else as well. As much as I hate to say it, the TT Gallardo conversion is becoming a little too "main stream" for my taste. I don't like having things that a ton of other people have. It's time to come up with something REALLY unique.
There's what, 10.. maybe 15 TTG's? That's mainstream?

Spot the gay kid on the last pic!
:lol2: I was going to PS that in, but was too lazy

I hope your calculations are better than your posts.
So you're telling me in the over 1,200 ft from the stoplight at East Royal Palm to the intersection of Eastwood, an E63 can't get to 70mph? Man, it really is as slow as you say Allan!
Really? Now you've seen the data?
Now you were there??
