I'm on vacation and saw this watch I really like by TW steel. Has anyone ever heard of the brand before? Its a 50mm face similar to panerai styling but not sure of the quality or endurance. I really thinking of buying it if its not a piece of junk because its not a lot of money...

Its not a lot of money, but something I just think looks kinda nice... they are about 200-250 euros... so not a lot of dough, just dont want to buy a brick and be assed out when I get home...

I was actually able to get a little more than 30% off through a friend up here in boston... he works at Alpha lambda lambda lambda and the omega mu, I havent picked it up yet but we are going to try and also work out a deal for a watch for my mom. We bought a Royal Eagle VC from them earlier in the year

Hey all went watch shopping this weekend trying to find something that I like...
I ran accross this gem and I liked it alot...
but with stainless steel band... Has the show case back to it too, which is VERY cool. It was retail $8,950. Do these get discounted at all?
Also I saw the rolex Datejust and liked them, silver or white face with a smooth bezel and the smooth bracelet... kinda like this one...

This would be for a college graduation gift... Unless Im an idiot and Im way off I know the rolex(I think around $4K?) is in the price range even with no discount but what is the discounting like on the JLCs? I have heard I should easily get 30% off from an authorized dealer? which may put it in to my price range. I would really like that Master Calendar

Who wouldnt want a large family sedan that with a little modding should be in the high 11sec quarter mile range? I Think with drag radials it actually will dip in to the 11sec range, I could be mistaken...

Im graduating from college in a few months and I have begun to look for a grad present. I have been in to watches for as long as I could remember. Currently I have an lambda lambda lambda and the omega mu Sea Master as a daily, it takes a beating and after a good polish lookes brand new after 4 years.
Currently I have my eyes set on a Bentley Motors Breitling. When looking for a watch for my dad a few months ago we saw this and almost got it for him. He ended up with a Vacheron Constantine. What I liked about the bentley motors was the huge face and bezel that just attracted the eye. A couple months have gone by and Im wondering if that watch is going to be in style for a long period of time or is it the type of watch that in like 5 or 6 years Im not really going to want to wear? We were given a price of just about $6k for it, which was $2k under what thesticker price said.
Talking with some other folks about watches they said it sounds like I want to get a rolex. Now although I love the look of Rolex, the watches are all over the place, EVERYONE has one. I want something a little eye catching and kind of classic looking. I have a VERY big wrist(9-10" around) and goes to an even bigger fore arm. I am looking to spend anywhere from $5-7K. What could you all recomend?

Great, thanks for the info, its appreciated, since my flight is detoured through France, I may instead purchase a Cartier santos in duty free
