  1. I will agree with this. When i first moved here, I was amazed at the driving, especially here in Napoli. But I have gotten used to it. When I go back to the US, people ask how the driving is here? I tell them:

Stop Lights, Stop Signs, Road Lines are all just decoration. Sidewalks are a place drive, passing on the opposite side of the road is acceptable. If you happen across a street light that is functioning and you have the green light, it means pay more attention, because you may THINK you have the right of way, but don't expect it. If a street says do not enter, eh, whatever. When you get in your car, expect to be tailgated and tailgate everyone, or you will not get anywhere. An inch of road that is left unused by you, is an inch of road someone else WILL try and use. If a cop is going slower than you want to go, flash your headlights and pass him. Do not buy a car that you like, to drive in the city.

But on the plus sides, what seems like complete chaos at first glance, actually works. The streets are smaller but traffic USUALLY moves, sometimes slow but it moves. That is more than I can say for the 405 freeway that is easily double or triple the size of an Italian Highway. People generally get out of the way if they are going slower than you on the highway, there is no passing on the right because some asshat decided it was a good idea to go 40 in the fast lane. If someone doesn't realize they are going slower than you (Cops included) you flash your headlights and they move.

Over all its a very chaotic system, but it seems to work. This has been my experience in the last 10 months. Pedestrians are definitely not given the right of way, sometimes not even acknowledged as I believe the case to be here.

The system in Italy does NOT work. The drive waaaayyyy tooo close to your car and have no respect. Especially when you have nice cars and not are Italian. They are so jealous nowadays. Before it was not like this.

  2. BENTLEY CONTINENTAL SUPERSPORTS CONVERTIBLE ISR

    - Dramatic ISR Mulliner option introduced

    - Celebration of Bentley's world ice speed record-breaking Supersports convertible driven by rally champion, Juha Kankkunen

(Crewe, England. 20 April 2011) The Continental Supersports Convertible ISR (Ice Speed Record) is the most potent and radically styled Bentley convertible ever. This new model, limited to just 100 cars worldwide, is a celebration of the Company's world ice speed record for a convertible car set by Finland's four-time world rally champion Juha Kankkunen in a Bentley Continental Supersports convertible.

Driving the all-wheel drive, biofuel-powered 6-litre, 12-cylinder Continental Supersports convertible on the perilous frozen Baltic Sea, off the coast of Finland, Kankkunen achieved a speed of 205.48 mph (330.695 km/h) eclipsing his own ice speed record of 199.83 mph (321.6 km/h) set in 2007 in the Continental GT.

The 6-litre, twin turbo-charged W12 engine, produces 640 PS (631 bhp / 471 kW) - the most powerful Bentley ever - and 800Nm (590lb ft) of torque. Paired with a Quickshift six-speed automatic transmission, it launches the convertible 'Ice Speed Record' model from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.0s) and reaches 100 mph from a standing start in only 9.5 seconds (0-160 km/h in 9.4s).

"chincy piece of junk ??????" :eusa_naughty:

NO way my friend, car is awesome. But not my choice of decor , etc. But every factory makes these kind of special models. Look at what Porsche put on the market, Lamborghini etc.

The "standard" Supersports is the worlds best all round car :icon_thumleft:

  3. I havent said that I wont buy one.. Im just in no rush to go buy one.. I just got my hands on what I consider a very special car, and I have a specific plan in mind to aquire several others, none of which currently is an Aventador, or for that matter a Murcielago.

You are right not to rush it, better to wait for 13 cars :icon_thumleft:

I guess you want to make a collection of older Lamborghini models, Countach etc and then in 1.5 years time top it with the Aventador :icon_pidu: Not a bad idea.

Did you sell the Bentley GT ?
