  1. What insults dude? If you are a fake, everything you read is warranted and it is all pointing that way. I would prefer you were real but, as i have said before, you contradict yourself, change stories and insult our intelligence. Where there is smoke, there is fire.

I'm not trying to start shit, man. What's with the hostility? There IS a lot of it floating around right now... Am I a fake? So the 3,000+ posts over the last 5 1/2 years was all just regurgitated shit from Bloomberg, late night Suzy Orman and Jim Cramer reruns on CNBC?? I guess...possibly.. :lol2: .

btw guys I don't just trade all day, just one part of the business, but then again how would you know that (I've never shared much of that)? It's understandable.. I've never attested to know everything, EVER... the eagerness to bash, professionalism and integrity over a car??? Not so understandable.

So the numerous input Ive given to members here on LP that had been verified by their own personal contacts as solid and sound advice AFTER I had been directly contacted and asked for advice (I never volunteer); and the business contacts I've put LP members in touch with that have IMPROVED or increased their businesses, has all been the work of a dastardly, evil, fraudster, that knows nothing of what he's talking about, an idiot liar that should not be trusted?? Interesting......Am I "pussy hurt", as Fortis put it, because of this? Nah.

    Where's the contradiction?

Remember, I never brought this subject up, YOU did. By creating this thread in the first place. I tried to give the best and most honest answer I could. You threw out your little "sounds fishy" for no apparent reason and here we are now, 13 pages deep, on my behalf. Everything from my integrity, my honesty, my intelligence and my career has been challenged. All of this based upon unfounded, unsubstantiated, assumption...

So now, at this point do I really owe YOU an explanation? Naaah.

Why edit the post? I thought your response was well with in reason. Summed it up pretty well.

    Best

Thanks. The most I can remember of it is above. I just don't want to keep going in circles, I've made my point and there's nothing more to say from my side. Everyone else here can do what they want.. How many times and in different ways, can I say the same thing?

  2. Don't give yourself that much credit, it will never make it to gold. At this rate, unless you turn out to be real, this one is going to be in the hall of shame. And the way you handled this, merely posting another picture is not going to cut it.

    :lol2: Yeah...yeah...whatever..

And it's not about me it's about you guys...lol.. The gallery is what turns threads to gold, it's got nothing to do with me, you being a mod should know that. :icon_mrgreen:

    On with the insults.

  3. LOL..this thread! It definitely does not add up. I would simply show off my CGT, not keep it a secret? Unless I really wanted to surprise the LPOWER community...and that alone in itself would take a lot, especially since we have seen it all...

Ill show it off when I have it.

  4. So now you drove it for a few weeks when in your last post you were asking pre-buying questions . Pre- buying means you haven't bought, right ? And this story jives ? I am not making this stuff up, you keep changing the story.

No man, way back when I was asking about maintenance questions and talking to Donnie about his issues, remember that?..when Webster and I agreed on driving that clutch, I had been driving it. Pull the posts and verify the timeline. Seems like youre just trying to stir things up. You dont wanna believe me thats fine. A non-scooped pic isnt good enough?...lol...

Let it ride, Gold Thread to come soon I guess. Didnt expect to be the center of LP. That was not my intention telling you what was going on, and was happy to give some info. You guys are unruly. :lol2:

  5. I actually want to believe you but you keep on contradicting yourself. What would you keep saying in your posts you will be getting a CGT by the end of the month if you intended to keep it a secret. And the stuff about the exhaust, i am sorry but that sounds like absolute bullshit to me. You are going to pay 350k for a car that basically is a race car detuned for the street, that has been developped by one of the premier sports car manufacturers in the world, and you are sending it to a shop to get the entire exhaust system redone, i should say butchered, just because you want to tune the sound. Any idea how retarted that sounds ? Never mind the fact that outside of a racing team, it is highly unlikely anyone would even touch that project as it spells disaster.

Do you have any idea what it costs to get get headers made the right way for a single application ? They have to be made by hand. In the materials that you are talking about, 10k per set of headers would be an absolute minimum, so you you mean to tell me the shop that you are dealing with has scrapped 2 sets already and is working on the third. All this for sound ?

And, we haven't even gotten started on the clutch or ecu and the ecu is no piece of cake.

So all in all, 50k or 60k just for the sport when all you need to do is put straight pipes and you have the F1 sound that you are talking about. I know you are going to say it is your money and you can do whatever you want with it but at the time it is insulting to my intelligence and i can't see you spending that kind of money modding a CGT when you say you will not pull the trigger on a Gallardo until it drops in value.

The whole story doesn't ad up. To top it up, you get spotted when the car is supposed to be in the shop ? Oh, i know, the picture was taken before the car when in :eusa_think:

Haha...ok, all that is noted...fine man. I drove it for a few weeks and it is badass. But I want to make it unique. Not gonna say much more we will just see what happens then all speculation will come to rest. For now, you guys go ahead and make this a Gold Thread at my expense. :icon_thumleft:

  6. What's childish about the whole thing is if it was in my garage, I STILL wouldn't have mentioned it, no one wouldve even known thats just how I am. Remember BMWRACER brought this up. Don't know if to start something (my week for harassment or something) or out of "curiosity", but either way if I were to say "oh its here" we'd still be going through the same bullshit...

So again: Speculate, Congratulate or Hate. Have fun guys. :icon_thumleft:

  7. Swil you've got a lot of credibility with the members here and the general public is forgiving. If you bullshat relax, it's not the end of the world. If you've got a new car then congrats.

abolfaz asked you about the VIN. Mako asked you about the fake login. I'm now asking you to respond.

Swil, I didn't ask for the vin. I asked for the car number.

As you can see porter said VIN, I didn't see your question. Anyways didn't pay attention, I'll let you know. Since its so crucial.

  8. Swil you've got a lot of credibility with the members here and the general public is forgiving. If you bullshat relax, it's not the end of the world. If you've got a new car then congrats.

abolfaz asked you about the VIN. Mako asked you about the fake login. I'm now asking you to respond.

I didnt see the login question..sorry. My fuckin biz partner was logged in on my comp when I stepped away he had to load some shit on my comp. Nice timing right? He cruises LP sometimes since I told him about it..Anyways, I came back wrote what I wrote, hit send and screamed, "fuuuuuuuck LAST thing I needed, dude why didnt you tell me you were logged in as you??!!!" I told him why, he laughed and said fcuk them man, like it really matters..." He has a point.........

As far as VIN...I think you know the answer to that one. Personally identifiable information that can be traced to my home address. Sorry. Im still trying to figure out how a car not being ready on time turns a story into bs.

  9. I forgot to add in my post, that for Fortis he's a friend of Scud's in real life, who we know, so it was an easy one.

Just so you don't feel there's an unlevel playing field being applied or that we fell for Fortis' "mausoleum" home styling... :icon_mrgreen:

    :lol2: Fair enough.

  10. You've made some valid points, no question.

But I can tell you that we've always run things differently here. We leave the alternative "free love" policies for other forums, where they're overrun by 15 year olds with "An SLR, a F430, and an LP640 I just picked up". :icon_mrgreen:

It's not for everyone, but it works for us. That's why our posts can't be viewed without registering, and why Googlebot can't index our pages for SEO results. It's just more of a private thing as we're not out to do numbers and grow members.

The "unsolicited" line I expected to be a bit controversial, but it is what it is in terms of a description.

From what I hear from those I trust on the topic Swil's (your?) advice is pretty solid. But it's about just making sure we protect the group (and ourselves) from thinking someone is who they're not. And as Rob pointed out with Slowpoke, when someone is legit and comes through the other side it makes them more credible, more appreciated, and more enthusiastically supported by everyone else. :icon_mrgreen:

I don't see the problem with it, and I believe it makes the community stronger. Just my opinion. :icon_thumleft:

I agree completely...I just don't have much else to give. For now, whatever I do provide will be limited, anyways. I don't play the, "show me a pic with you standing next to it" game. Not gonna happen.

  11. Interesting, anymore pics?

Okay, you want me on the hood in a thong with a rose in my mouth too? :icon_mrgreen: lol

Pic is from being spotted out an about and was later sent to me.

I really didn't take any personal pics (cause I hadn't planned on posting any), so if I'm gonna get flamed so be it.

  12. I am very relaxed lol. Just curious since you have mentioned quite a few times so so much for keeping it quiet . The exhaust on the CGT is no rocket science so i hope whoever you gave the job to actually knows what they are doing and same with the clutch.

Not really quite a few, just once. Every other time I had been asking PRE-buying questions.

I'll let you guys know when it arrives.

  13. Relax.

Actually...I tried to do a Fortis, and keep it quiet. So much for that. The entire exhaust system is being custom fabricated in a ceramic material similar to the iconel that the McLaren sport exhaust will have, CPU and hp tuning, sound modulation etc. is taking longer than expected. We expect it to have 650+ hp and sound like an F1 car when its done. Nothing like the straight pipe madness. More "bespoke" as you will... They've scrapped two set-ups already, and haven't even gotten the clutch in. THEN it still has to get a clear coat. At this point I have no idea how much longer now. Will probably be the only one like this in the world. Hoping its out in time for Kane's shindig but who knows, I just want it done right. This thread is exactly why I wanted to keep it under wraps until it's unveiled, but I let BwilsonUK pull it outta me.

In the meantime, will probably pick up a 70k G to scoot around in, I'm getting anxious.

  14. Yeah, but when I run it in my head it sounds stupid. Maybe I figure they want the "its a good opportunity to gain knowledge, etc..." a standard answer. I'm stressed out to the max because the job means in short a new life.

Plain and simple, speak from the heart. If you ARE excited for the opportunity, then say it. Don't try to "vanilla-ize" with the stuff you put up there, "gain knowledge, etc" blah blah blah....Do you know how many times people hear that in interviews. Be honest, interviewers SEE and NOTE the passion in your eyes. If you want the job say so and explain why from the heard and not a canned response that trust me, YOU think sounds professional but so does every other clown that went in toi interview before and after you. What is going to set YOU apart?????? It IS an opportunity at a new life, a chance to work and live in an environment I've been learning and training for over the last 4-6, 8 years (whatever it is for you). after that you're solid..

Your PASSION for the job. Passion - defines your commitment to the team and the company. Something that makes no boss have to ask you to stay later, or change tasks on the fly without complaints. Passion prompts you to do those things anyways because you love what you do, you appreciate the people around you, you learn and improve quickly, and are a positive influenc eon the staff there with youthful exuberance that maybe they haven't had in a while....

Go inthe interview knowing everything you can about the company its stage in is industry, its position in the industry, its competiors and what your job may be about. Everything else......if you really want the job, just wing it from the heart with honesty and dont overthink it. Trust me they will see the difference...

  15. Now, think through the time line of the events. DSK checked out of the hotel at 12:28 pm, but the victim didn't call 911 till 1:32pm. DSK went to lunch with his daughter, then on to JFk to catch his plane back to France. At about 3:30 pm he realized he lost his cell phone and called the hotel to see if the staff found his phone. He tells them he is at JFK waiting for his flight.

Now, does that sound like the actions of a man who just raped a housekeeper at the hotel who was now trying to flee the country?

Exactly. Typical story of a lady that regretted blowing her boss TWICE and came to the realization that he NEVER was actually gonna leave his wife for her... :eusa_wall:

**just speculation but, we all know it happens**
