  1. As someone who buys and sells a lot on ebay, you don't technically have to do anything I believe. He can't file a claim after 90 days (or 60 maybe?) and if he leaves you negative feedback, it's very easy to get it erased.

If you feel like being a good guy, refund him and relist it. If you don't care....just list it again and put free shipping and use the $1200 to pay the shipping

  2. Very good movie. Less on the financial side than I would have expected, but hell, T&A was like 80% of the reason I watched the movie anyway.

I thought it was interesting that the Slovenian GF was played by an actual Slovenian actress. I think this movie will go down in infamy, just like Scarface.

I will definitely buy it on Blu-Ray when it comes out and those saying the 3 hours went by fast were correct.

I'm still thinking about how hot Dutchess is....

  3. With all the new "video game" cars being released, fighting over fractions of a second, 1/4 mile and Nurburgring times at the expense of rawness and visceral performance no wonder old school starts going through the roof commanding such a premium.

I hope exotic car manufacturers at some point will return to basics and start building again raw exotics with "old school" feel, very basic, no frills, light and nimble, cars which majority of the enthusiast are craving for rather than trying to outdo each other by the number of acronyms and fractions of a second which is really meaningless in the real world, wishful thinking perhaps but one can always dream.

You sound like my generation's parents who didn't like when cars started using fuel injection over carburetors. Being stuck in the past and not adapting to new technology does not sell cars, and it certainly doesn't pave the way for innovation. When you take a picture, do you use your phone/a digital camera? or do you shoot on 35mm and develop it yourself because it's raw and old school?

Sports cars today are faster, safer, more refined, more reliable, and are performing on a much higher level than they ever have in the past. With the technology available today, there is no reason you should have to sacrifice too much comfort and practicality for speed and performance.

I for one and thankful for the "video game cars", it has forced car manufacturers to start being competitive again and as a result we have all benefited from much better cars being released to the market.

My intention of this post is to not be a dick, just shed light on a different perspective. If you want something raw, light and nimble, buy a motorcycle.

  4. I'd be willing to bet that in a panic situation that most people could empty an entire desert eagle mag and miss their target completely unless we are talking about point blank range. The best weapon you can own for personal protection is the one that you have the most experience with and are most comfortable with.

If you have a 9mm and you shoot it on a weekly basis, it's going to be a lot more useful than a desert eagle that you will most likely never have shot before. The DE suggestion is about as stupid as the theory that the sound a shotgun makes when being cocked is going to deter an intruder.

  5. Kinda late but thought I'd share this idea for you guys that live in communist cities where they cite parked cars for no front plate

Get some really powerful magnets (earth magnets?) and tape them to the inside of your front bumper. When you get out to park just slap the plate on the front bumper while you are out doing whatever and then take if off when you get back. The magnets will hold it on no problem and you won't have to drill into your bumper this way either
