  1. That pic of the F430 illustrates just how ugly a design it really is. The Gallardo Spider is the hottest convertible ever made.

No it's really not. The more I'm around F430 Spiders, the more I like them. I can think of a lot more better looking convertiblesthan the Gallardo but hey, to each his own.

  2. As with most any comparable Ferrari/Lamborgini I've driven...the Ferrari is more precise while the Lambo is more of a brute. I prefer the F430 over the Gallardo but you'll have to decide for yourself which one YOU like better :icon_thumleft:

  3. That is not humor. The author wanted to make a point. - Don't come around, unless you have an expensive Montblanc pen to write a check. Good for him :eusa_dance:

I have posted before, that I have had good and bad experiences, dealing with authorized F dealers. A few different F owners that I have spoken with, have had the same results. I can assure you, that I was not wasting their time. It is interesting that with almost every other uptown marque, you never have a problem finding a friendly salesperson. I guess F cars sell themselves ? - Except of course, with the recent offerings of the 456GTM and 575M !

I guess the Hugo Boss sales jacket (expensssive :icon_mrgreen:) , tie, and appointment was not enough ? :icon_mrgreen: In sales, your time with potential customers, will not always result in an immediate sale.

I see your point but the person that also wrote that page will also spend several hours of his time showing anybody that will listen (Brandi can back me up on this one 100000% :icon_mrgreen: ) you photos of his extensive collection of cars that he has owned personally or his experiences as being an importer for various automotive brands....or the latest youtube video he has found (I'm not joking) my point is; he doesn't take himself too seriously and since he manages our website his brand of humor unfortunately sets a precedent of our company.

BTW, anyone that sets an appointment with me gets my full attention, even if one of my clients walks through the door unannounced...and I don't require no stinkin HB jacket :icon_mrgreen:

  4. Well then maybe my question up above should have been directed toward you. Did your .02 cents include letting the upper management know that they need to take thier head out of thier ass and rewrite the page to not make it sound so snobby. Again I understand the stupid questions that come along with car sales, I have a dealers license and tried for the hell of it to run it for a couple years with someone. After getting so aggrivated and not needing the income I decided that now I will just keep it for me as a convenience for friends and family and even then those people can be pain in the asses. We are talking about people buying Ferrari's here though not everyday $20k cars. Do they not think that these people deserve to have thier questions answered without feeling like they are idoits...............last time I checked lambo and F car buyers are not a dime a dozen. Maybe on this board they are but not out there.

I agree, exotic car buyers are not exactly a dime a dozen and they should be treated as such. IMO, all potential customers should be treated with respect, regardless of the automobile in question. Unfortunately, the humor (or lack thereof) that permeates certain parts of the FoD website would be better left unsaid...the author thinks otherwise :icon_pray:

Let me also say this; we have had a huge response to the FAQ page and I'd say 95% of it has been positve from people who enjoyed the sense of humor. It went over well on Ferrari Chat, has absolutely bombed on Lambo Power...go figure :icon_mrgreen:

  5. Forget about buying a new Ferrari for a moment.

Do you have any experience with attempting to purchase a used Ferrari, from a few different authorized F dealers in the USA ?

No, I honestly do not. <Flame me if you want> I am a salesman at Ferrari of Denver. Like my previous post said, I have never agreed with the FAQ page but it's ultimately not my call. I put in my .02 whether or not this is the type of first impression we want to make...obviously the author's humor went over in here like a lead balloon :icon_mrgreen:

  6. This being a Lambo site, I'll read through the hostility with a grain of salt.

I don't agree with the FAQ page on the website either but it's a friggin blanket statement people! Generally speaking; someone who walks through the door and does not ask intelligent questions, ie; "When was the last major service done?", instead they want to know how the stereo sounds and go for a drive...these are not buyers.

Now if you come in and ask politely to sit in a car and sound sincere in your quest to own an exotic, chances are you will be offered a test-drive before you can ask for one! It's really a double-edged sword, people get upset when they can't drive a car but nobody wants to buy a car that the dealer has let every Tom, Dick and Harry go out and beat the shit out of.
