One of the best threads ever. Just one question. Why cant I ever seem to get any of my girls to pose nude infront of a camera? Is it that I date only the innocent ones, or do they think Im gonna show the whole world? -
My dad ordered one when he bought my car. He was expecting to get it for MSRP and got screwed. Dealer wanted $125K. Sounds like a deal now.

My baby bros lease is up on his Land Rover LR3 and is looking for a nice coupe for no more than 30K. Anyone have experience with a CLK55. Not sure what to look for but most have remaining warranty and we would get a MB extended certified warranty with it.

Its has a mid engine 2.7L supercharged V6 from a Hyundai. The styling is clean but generic. They are gonna have a tough time selling it at $100K a piece.

Thats a beautiful car their selling, i looked for my 04 chrome orange for MONTHS, and totally over paid for it. BUT im in love with the car and know everything their is to know about it now. Ill say the tranny does suck, but its mainly the 1st to 2nd gear throw if done hard will break like a twig. If you respect the tranny for the most part itll be fine. I have no issues with mine, a grind here and there, but thats just me totally not paying attention haha.
Do you have the white interior in your car? That is exactly what i was looking for! I believe its one of 3 chrome oranges for 04? Another one is actually in Maryland right by where I live. If you ever sell it let me know!

Absolutely love SE30 cars but the front bumpers are sooo fugly.

The only thing that scares me with these is that bird-bones Renault transmission it's got. I was looking at a cut-away of it the other day, it really is as feeble as owners who have had it break complain about. The connectors look like they're made of fishing line.
But Allan never broke his, and that's usually proof they can take a beating.
Great car.
I was looking for one before I got the C6. I was dying to find a Chrome Orange 02+ but they are extremely rare. The transmission problems also scared me. I dunno how Allans held up. There are all kind of horror stories about the weak gears. -

Not trying to hijack but why arent prices of used GTs dropping? Instead they are just going up? I was trying to convince my dad that this is a worthy alternative to a 360 or G but they are not depreciating like Id expected. Did they build a small amount?

I saw the first one exactly where the picture was taken. It was at symbolic in la jolla. it had to be atleast 5 years ago. It was simply amazing to look at. If i remember correctly it had a sold sign on it...price 1.8 Million
