Blue-V10 Report post Posted January 14, 2010 I have a "significant" birthday coming up and wanted to get myself a nice watch. I like Audemars Royal Oak watches. It seems that simple stainless steel watches drop a lot in price so a new one is not such a great idea. I've done well buying used high end cars and I figure I can do the same with a watch. If I can only afford a new steel watch, perhaps I could afford a used version in gold or platinum or add a complication. What advice do people have for buying a used AP watch? Or a new one for that matter. I plan to look at other makers but I would prefer those that make the movements, not a packager of mass produced movements.
