$1000 is ridiculous, that is a lambo tax for sure.

 

I learned to do my own alignments in my garage on a lift, and it is easy. The murc suspension is very basic, and has the same concentric bolts found on most modern sports cars. Just find a race shop that is used to doing Vettes or Vipers, it's the same setup. I think the Murc is actually even easier, because the a-arms are connected to a tubular "box" that is easier to adjust than free floating a-arms where camber/caster can be hard to control.

 

I'd say $250 is reasonable from a good race shop.
