cablesurge Report post Posted February 21, 2010 I have an '07 Gallardo Spyder with about 5000miles on it. I checked recently at the workshop and they told me that it still had 70% life remaining. However, I discovered that when driving hard in "sport" mode and shifting to 2nd gear at around 7000rpm, the clutch seems to slip and the rpm drops more than usual. This only happens from the 1st gear to 2nd gear and only in sports mode, it is fine for the rest of the gears. In normal mode, all is good. I spoke to the workshop guys about this and they also mentioned that a few other customers have complained about similar problems. And he claimed that it was "normal". He mentioned resetting the ecu and allowing to let the gearbox learn and program itself again could solve the problem. Anyone experienced this?
