Oil leak on my Gallardo....

My G is an 06 coupe and I also have a friend with an 04 coupe that supposedly has the same issue. The oil is coming from just to the right and up of the crank pulley, a local tech and friend suggested that it looks like its coming from where the oil seperator "catch can" joins the block in the valley. It looks like at the very least. Any suggestions or previous knowledge about this?

So I cleaned it up and it looks like it's coming from the crank seal area. What all does this repair entail? I talked to a local tech who is a good friend that works at an Audi dealer and has worked on several G's and he said you would have to remove the engine to get it done. Here are some pics. After the clean up...

Bump, does anybody have an image or diagram of the 5.0 engine out of the car? Trying to get a front view to get an idea of what is up towards the top of the engine that could be leaking other than the common oil filter seal.

You do not have to remove the engine to replace the front main seal.
