Exhaust remote bypass valve method

Hi, My Murcielago apparently had a remote exhaust bypass valve fitted but the remote has been lost.

I have been told its very simple and something to do with a vacuum remote switch which will allow the exhaust to operate as standard or you can use the remote to open up as you want.

Any help and information would be appreciated how to do and what to purchase.
