pantdino Report post Posted August 27, 2005 Hi, All, I'm considering getting a Diablo but wonder if it will work for me. The ceiling in my garage is 8'5" above the floor, and a support beam runs across the ceiling in its midpoint from side to side. The beam is 16" tall. So my question is, how much clearance above the floor do you need to open the door fully, and how far back from the front of the car is the point in space where the highest part of the door reaches?
