  1. I get why they made this one ... massive profit margin if you ask me, 112 units at $2 to $3 million each ... that's money in the bank, and there are always people out there to buy it, seems all of them are sold out, which is something they always seem to state at a press conference.

I understand why it's white as a launch color, as a tribute to Ferruccio's LP400S, but why go for a red interior then? It is supposed to celebrate the 1971 prototype, that was yellow, the 'persicope roof' is there, no wheel arch extensions, no massive rear wing, still the NACA made it's return ... so it is evidently not had many influences from the S models ...

I finished two more views, now side and interior are done, so I can put any color on this one ... but I start with Giallo Countach:

(couldn't resist adding the Pirelli PZERO on the tires ...)

And a matching, more 'adventurous' interior instead of the red from the show car:

  2. Just unveiled in California, in a special shade of white ... but how would she look in other shades:

Verde Medio with Terra Emilia interior:

Or in a correct Giallo Countach shade on a black interior:

    The classic red on tan:

    Intimidating black on white:

Or just a nice blue with that red interior:

    Anything is possible ...

Yep great work, back looks better although i can’t tell what’s different, Front looks odd in body colour lines but good in dark.

from the spy shots it seems there isn't much difference at the rear, I see different exhaust pipes and the air vent move toward the wheel arch ... but that's about it.

  4. Made some renders for this new Urus model, not sure it's the facelift, my guess is a more powerful version ... could be the hybrid finally?

New front with horizontal bars and air intake under the headlights

At the rear it seems the air vent is moved, and the test mule has different exhaust pipes.

A hybrid might not need the air intakes under the headlights ...

I sure wouldn't mind an Urus Performante with clear carbon fiber hood, roof, mirrors and lower trim ... also carbon fiber bars for the front intake.

  5. A quick question, back when the Gallardo Superleggera was available you could get two different rear wing styles, the 'high wing' (as seen on the orange one below), and a 'low wing' (as seen on the grey one):

    superleggera.jpg

Now I checked several photos of the Gallardo Superleggera with the low wing option ... it always seem to be 'up', so is it a fixed wing too, like the high wing?

The standard wing on the Gallardo was adjustable right?

    Just want to make sure.

All the Xagos are spoke for. Of the 10, 4 are coming to North America (one of which is going to Canada) and the remaining 6 are all in Europe. ME and Asia did not get any units. All cars are roadsters, no coupes. Apparently lots of interesting stuff, albeit it cosmetic. Each of the 10 cars are unique.

That first customer Xago was delivered this week in Switzerland ... looks amazing

  7. I agree it will be a delicate balance between power, weight, and cost.

Back in 2014 we got to see a first concept with the Asterion, adding 300hp into the mix with three electric motors and batteries ... but that also added 250 kg in weight ... I don't know how much evolution has been made over the last 6 years, but even if they managed to reduce the weight addition by 50%, you're still looking at 125 kg extra.

I guess using two electric motors for the front axle, and using the V12 to power the rear only, could reduce the additional weight, probably between 75kg and 100kg I guess ... but there is already a lot of carbon fiber on the Aventador SVJ at this time, so they might be using a lighter 'sandwich' carbon fiber method and add some more weight reduction on chassis and running parts?

Remember they also tested the Tosca, which was nothing else than an Aventador with the Asterion engines ... but it turned out to be too heavy at that time.

I do hope the successor will add more electric power than the 34hp on the Sian ... at least 100hp please ;)
