I sat and watched it with my buddy that was on the crew of the film. It was not as bad as critics made it to be, but it was not good. The dialogue was clunky, the lighting inconsistent, and the orc did not set up classic Will Smith one-liners. It was a little Hancock, and a little Alien Nation. I saw it, but only to fill the evening of drinking and loneliness.
Agreed. Okay to watch nothing to write home about.

For any conceptualizing of practical interstellar travel, I'm pretty sure we need to abandon every idea we have of propulsion, fuel, moving parts, and time. Gravity obviously isn't a big problem for this tic-tac. This would be physics on a level so far beyond us that any technology which masters interstellar travel to reach us would be ultra mature and highly reliable. Even if dropped in our laps and explained to us in great detail, we still might not even be intelligent enough to understand it. This might not even be a case of pure advancement, but of pure evolution to a form with intelligent properties that we can't even fathom (or make into a movie). The wisest position we can take is to be humble and realize that we don't know what we don't know and accept it.

With the released video and black money admission it may be that we are not alone. I need to find my grainy pic that I think is on Facebook somewhere but a few years ago I saw a similar object as described move in a similar manner. I even commented on it on Facebook but in my picture you can’t really see anything because of the resolution and distance.

Pretty unbelievable how some here are actually posting in opposition of net neutrality. I get that people will support issues due to party lines but this one has me scratching my head.

It was slow as hell until the big sentinel scene. Then it was full on awesome and set the stage to go forward. In fact as opposed to episode 7 the whole movie was written to shed old Star Wars and move forward.

I was never an open top guy I bought the SV Roadster because it looks stunning but now that I’ve experienced one I don’t think I can go back, like you said top down the noise is intoxicating.
The A-SVR is the one to get. Since you can carry the easy on top with you it’s the best if both worlds.

Started watching Goliath (it's on Amazon) with my wife over the weekend. If you like Billy Bob Thornton being as Billy Bob as he can be, you'll enjoy it. All the piss and vitriol of Bad Santa dressed up as an attorney trying to do something decent.
It was well done.

Just saw it. I think Ace is spot on w his post. It was good but not great. I didn’t hate that I saw it and all the Gratuitous Gil Gadot ass shots were nice.
Considering all the garbage movies out there this was one of the few I was okay going to in the Theater.
My wife and daughter saw Wonder at the same time. Wife said it was good but not as intense in the feels as the previews would lead you to think.
