  1. I'm in the process of restoring a LP400S Countach. As such I'm looking for recommendations in terms of heat management inside the engine bay. What have you guys done, and what is recommended? I was thinking wrapping some of the parts close to the engine in a heat-wrap blanket type material. Any other suggestions? Thank you...
  2. Can somebody confirm these fuel filter cartridges are correct for a Lp400S engine: UFI 26-619-00 Fiamm FA 4194/2 Fram C11859 PL Knecht Gruppe KX 34 Mann & H P 715 Purolator PM 452 Tecnocar N 1136 Any one of them easier to obtain in auto parts stores such as NAPA or AutoZone? Thank you...
  3. I had talked to Chad and then called them; their first estimate at around $300/each part for rebuild seemed a little high, especially since I see one of them is $65 or so (from the Alfa 33?). I also talked to Ron Karp and he's looking into rebuild kits but can't find ones to his liking?
  4. I have these taken out of the car -- any opinion on where to rebuild them? I think the clutch slave cylinder can be bought new for cheaper than rebuild? Thoughts? Thank you
  5. Hi how can I remove the flag mirror from a 1979 LP400S car? Is it through the inside of the door panel? Any instructions anywhere? Thank you.
  6. Hello -- I'm looking for a Countach mechanic in Rhode Island/Connecticut/Massachusetts. Preferably an independent or small shop...should have experience with earlier (70s) Countach models. Any recommendations? Willing to go to NY and NH/ME/VT for the right guy. Thank you.
