If he said he had insurance and then it was determined he didn't.....ROAST HIM But he made it clear he was using Ray's. Where is there a lack of ethics?

I can't debate if its better having insurance or not. Its better having insurance period. I have a ton of it personally and professionally at a great expense. However, when SM drives my car I realize he's using mine. I'm no smarter than Ray.....he knew too.

Its a polarizing issue no doubt. Complicated by the fact that SM can't respond to things that can be taken out of context. But it still boils down to one issue for me. Ray knew or suspected his policy was being used at the onset and chose to ignore it.

Perry, The point is very clear. It was easy for Ray to understand beforehand that his insurance was being used....and he chose to ignore that until after the crash. He had an opportunity to say "no" and he didn't. He bares some responsibility is the process. Could SM have had insurance? Yes. Should he have had insurance? Up to him....but probably Yes. SP has insurance? Fantastic. Did Ray give Shadowman his written approval along with his insurance car.? Yes. Have I let SM drive my FGT after I gave him my insurance? Yes. Did I assume my insurance was the primary policy being used? Yes Its easy to cry about it after the fact

Chris, I appreciate your post.....but it boils down to just a few topics. Car Insurance - Ray provided written approval along with the doc's for the car to be driven. He said himself that "bells went off"...he should have said something THEN AND THERE. He needs to take some responsibility for those chain of events. (reminds me of some Democrats I know ) Medical Insurance - He attempted to pay this but the protocol wouldn't allow it. It needs to get denied by Ray's insurance co. and then he can get involved. How do you know what insurance card was handed over? Maybe it was his own but they have forwarded it to Rays? Sounds like a typical insurance co. move to me

Shadowmans work is top notch, period. He's had a hand in working on Rays cars in the past and if this accident didn't happen he'd no doubt be working on them in the future. He's tuned many nice cars over the years and every FGT owner knows if you want your car modded or fixed he's the guy. Now you can start up with jokes again......but those are the facts. I will continue to take my cars there......the rest of you (a majority here I imagine) that dont own anything beyond a Scion, 3 series BMW or relic exotic car should shut the fcuk up Go weigh in on local mechanics that work on those P.O.S.'s And the others.....you're all on record for sticking up for your wealthy pal Ray....good for you. Your ass kissing is duly noted. Maybe he'll sign your t-shirt at the next mile event. Move on already
