    Shits only 10% contained and moving along. Smoke is worse today from that plume last night. I’m glad I didn’t bring my kids home last night.

     

    The air quality out here is good unless you go up into the orchards (another five hundred feet).

    In a house they just bought? Did the insurance company determine the costs/values?

     

    Are they on the CA high risk policy?

     

     

    It's not Fair Plan, trust me I've been through that at our old place. Insurance companies want to sell you the min to get the loan through and if you don't read the fine print....

    That's truly devastating, I wish I was closer we could put together a container of toys, household items etc. whatever else which could help around the house!

     

    Damn under insured by $300k, that's crazy!

     

    All this before Christmas, that's screwed up :(

     

     

    Tis the fire season in CA. Thanks for donating. Their kids were over today, they were in good spirits. Emily met with a contractor I have used many times and a game plan is forming.

    Supercar Ace helped me move some cars that would have been ticketed for red flag warnings. The Skirball Fire is raining ash on my place. I have been outside all day fixing my sprinklers to wet-down the yard.

     

    Lucky you had enough water pressure to do so....

    Its going to date horribly. By the time it comes out everyone making a 4x4 would have taken those lines and made them worse. I'm seeing similar language on a lot of low/mid price cars already.

     

     

    They have been better off building on the LM002's legacy than repackaging a Q7.

    I understand why they did it, it will strengthen the financial underpinnings of Lamborghini. That said nothing bespoke, VW parts bin car with a derivative and generic design. VW Touraeg with $200k mark up. Probably be the most successful Lamborghini produced to date. Shame they never built the Estoque.

     

    The body coloured horizontal strips/pitchforks in the front intakes on the yellow and white Urus are an awful design feature. Looks really busy.

    From what I have read switchgear and things like nav are now Merc rather than 10-year-old Volvo crap. V8's in the DB11 are Merc too, the double Ford Duratec V12 still soldiers on albeit now served with twin turbos

    I disagree. The Merc's power advantage wasn't that crazy this past season when compared to the Ferrari. LH is a talented driver, but I think Vettle (and hell, maybe Verstappen if the Aston engine is nuts) has a good chance at taking it. I believe the oil burn advantage Mercedes has is gone in 2018, but I am not 100% sure on that.

     

     

    That's a great post....Aston and Alfa are back this year.. lol

    I know. I am still holding out on a sliver of hope that the FIA will drop that BS rule.

     

     

    I don't know what you are smoking, but until the engine regs change, look for Hamilton to pile up additional championships. Nothing is changing. The Merc maybe a brick aerodynamically but its engine power advantage can more than compensate.

    So I know cell phones are not bulletproof, but I just had a spooky occurrence and have never had anything happen like that before. I missed a phone call from my wife. I call her 15 minutes later, no answer. I call her another 15 minutes later, no answer. I call again to make sure it’s not my shitty phone reception or hers. It starts to ring again, someone answers the phone while it’s still ringing and says “Hello? This is Anthony.” Immediately I try to think, who the fcuk Anthony is. Nobody I know. I think, did my wife get into an accident or something or did she lose her phone? I say “who the hell are you?” Guy hangs up. Call is still ringing mind you, ANOTHER GUY PICKS UP! “Hello? Hello? Hello?” He keeps saying hello while I’m trying to talk to him and ask who the fcuk he is. He hangs up. The phone is still ringing... eventually my wife picks up. I ask her what’s going on and she has no idea and FaceTimes me from home. She said her phone only rang once.

     

    I know that the police can wirelessly view phone information and screen calls with out a warrant in areas but I find that highly unlikely where I live. It’s a very secluded area. Is my phone getting hacked? Is something else going on? I have an iPhone 7 Plus. Is Sprint that terrible that their calls are connecting to other peoples’ phones? Has anyone encountered this before? I figured there is a wealth of knowledge here so this might be the place to ask.

     

     

    That or your wife just got done with a gangbang....
