Like every new Lamborghini model it takes time to appreciate the design. I remember when the SVJ came out most people hated it, called too busy and preferred the SV. Now of course opinions have changed for most people and the SVJ is considered one of the best looking variants.
I don't think people will be overly disappointed with the replacement. It's wide, it's long and it'll have the road presence every V12 has had in years past.
Not really. I still think SVJ is the ‘anija’ variant of Aventador out of the factory. Mitja and his team seem to enjoy messy and eye tiring busy designs.
This is the first time he’s in command of a totally new production car rather than a new surface to an existing model. imo, the pre-Mitja versions of Huracan, Aventador, or even Urus (the prototype) look better and will age better over time. I hope time will prove me wrong.

That end up looking rather american than italian
quite GTA-esque too

These cars look like a mess. Is there any evidence even 25% of those vanes, inlets, and diffusers are functional? It has more "aero" attachments than a GTE Pro car yet is likely much lower performance than a Pista that doesn't even have a real spoiler...
At probably $600,000+, I just see no value at all.
I'd take a clean, original Aventador coupe over these any day, and twice on Sunday. 2012 Aventador is still one of the best exotic designs of the last few decades and it's about $400,000 less than this.
nailed it

Reminds me of the last gen Gallardo...not a fan, the first gen Hurcan looked flawless and the Perfermante is a stunner.

i'm not a big fan of those mustaches...most of the aftermarket bodykits have them too, and they ruin the original design IMO.
I'm not sure I love the SVJ looks that much more than a plain SV (especially front 3/4), because it's bordering on being too busy; the SV added plenty of violence over a regular Aventador (S), not sure it needs so much more. Of course will have to re-evaluate in 3 years...But that side profile is fantastic and the performance gains are significant so overall a win.

wasn't it supposed to be called SV-J?
i see S-J here
I heard dealers wanted deposits in by the end of June.the aero kit is 55k for the full kit.

IMO SV badge completes any SV! But i'm afraid even that tiny side decal won't suit Aventador SV at all
It makes the car look too messy at that corner
-
Aventador S ?
like miura, islero, and jarama "S" variants! maybe!
-
no wing...please
she looks incredible already...IMO 6.0 looks evil without a wing
for the wheels, smokey steel or titanium look is OK...or leave it as it is
BTW, congrats on your purchase...that Diablo is amazing
