  1. FS: Gallardo Carbon Fiber Engine Bonnet with Mesh Engine Window

    Hi guys,

     

    It's been so long and I sold my Gallardo back in 2012 but I was digging through my garage and I've got this Visible Carbon Fiber Engine Bonnet (Trunk?) Hood with a honey comb engine window. This piece should be plug and play if I remember correctly. The silver stuff is some heat tape on there that is a bit stubborn but could be removed with a heat gun.

     

    This is great for a track or competition car if you're looking to save some weight over the stock hood. I remember on my Gallardo, I didn't have a transparent cover, so this was an upgrade for me so that I could see the engine through the bonnet. This came off of my 2006 Gallardo, but it should also fit any LP-series cars as I don't think there was a change in that department.

     

    There are some small scratches here and there on it from storage in my garage. Images are attached. I remember I paid $3750 for it + whatever the mesh window was. Honestly, I wouldn't want to risk shipping it and when I ordered it, it was a freight item so that is a pain in the arse.

    Top Gear is not going to waste their time filming you and Allan racing. Their comedy is staged whereas you are a real joke.

    Here's the deal Allanlambo Kills All TT Lambo vs my Lotus Exige on track,,,,, Button Wilow Ca.

     

    This track is the home of the Redline Time Attack series and only 1.5 hrs. from LA so it's freeway close to both parties.....

     

    Looser forfeits title and covers all expenses...... Only Allanlambo Kills All Lambo vs ronin Exige. One car on track at a time, best time in a three lap sprint [time trial] you may add aero and the tire of your choice......Fuel no restrictions, what ever you like since we both will benefit from added power and safety.......

     

    If you really feel the need for a pro driver we can do that also since I have a number of guys that will be glad to have the TT Lambo as a prize rather than see what I have planned for it.....

     

    If I win I will burn Allanlambo Kills All car to the ground at a safe location on the track infield and it will in fact be filmed for Top Gear. This show is broadcast in more than 100 countries, claiming a global audience of 350 million.

    So there is no better venue to show what both street legal cars and drivers are capable of.....

     

    David vs Goliath....epic story and we all know how that ended....Lotus will love this..

    Well It is clear to me that most members save one or two that have responded on this thread are just fuckin posers with zero shills behind the wheel and if you want to critique my skills behind the wheel why not take your little Lambo to the track and show everyone your skills... Your lap times against my lap times...

    Or better yet we can go into the canyons where I'm in my real comfort zone since I've been playin with rally cars for the last 30 years....

    Dan, you are really getting good with that camera man. That was cool to watch. Is that all done with that Canon SLR camera? Nice stuff.

    i think it looks great and saw all the haters on l4p say you copied wagenworks but i see zero similarities

     

    if i had one thing to critique though it seems like you over sharpen your videos in post too much. you might not but it looks likes it

     

    Thanks, wagenwerkz actually shot the last video for ADV1 and then wagenwerkz fucked them over .. their last video actually copied the same from one of my videos + the style that I used in that particular video.

     

    I only do minor sharpening in post production. Are there any particular scenes that you felt were over sharpened? I will try to take a look and correct.

    When I come to LA to shoot a film, I'm going to shoot a bonus feature with an Allan Lambo TTG vs. Kilo16 UltraFast bolt-on Gallardo. :icon_thumleft:
