I think before and after comparison clips would be cool. Obviously there are endless videos of stock Aventadors on youtube, but viewing clips taken of the same car under the same conditions (location, idle revs, takeoffs etc.) would be great for comparing the difference in sounds.

i like the infloor jacking system wonder who makes them

  2. so interesting i have same exhaust , much better alignment though

still exhaust is my next major move

    after having done already:

    misc electrical corrections

    suspension bushings

    kevlar clutch/pressure plate throwout bearing

    big brembos

    murci wheels

    head gaskets and

    valve job

    engine bay detail

    silicone hoses

    aye yi yi

  3. They are just just that the rubber edge is thicker so the top of the air box doesn't seat as well. The AFE and BMC are supposed to be direct fits but I don't know if the BMC are worth the price. I have the K&N now just wanted to try one of the others.

Looking around the back of the car has reminded me about wanting those carbon light surrounds and the trim piece around the grill. I see some carbon light surrounds on eBay from Sweden for like $1200. Are there other options?? Even the blacked stock SV ones would be nice if anyone knows where to get them...

    wait ,

260 is too much for something that will help performance but 1200 is ok for bling effect?

  4. Ok, I took my fuel hose off last night but decided not to trim it because I don't think it'll help in my situation. The side of the hose nearer to the fuel door fits over a sleeve that's so long that the only flexible portion is about an inch or two between it and the gas tank -- I think that relatively short distance is the real problem. Trimming the hose won't allow it to bend any less, at least in my case. Part #36 below is essentially too long.

For those of you who trimmed your fuel hoses, was #36 much shorter? Mine seems to be around 4", which leaves it only an inch or two away from the top entry of the fuel tank.

i have seen this subject before on here , i have no issues with filling, any angle and any rate

will have to look at the set up to see whats different

ps where can i get these assembly diagrams for my year '91 ?

  5. im a newbie here too but have owned my 91 for almost 3 years

i do most of the work and have a mechanic (an ace) with the stuff im unsure of

its kinda clique here , the guys with the newer models will say that's all you should buy

i love my 2wd it rocks, sure it is a handful but hey so was my gto
