  1. Maybe on your setup the ratio is more correct.

    I really don't know.

But I do know that the TCS has never come on in my car despite driving is all sorts of weather conditions, driving styles and road conditions. Maybe they did something different with the TCS in 2004 since they did change a number of things that year and that's when they started the e-gear.

Those wheels look amazing on the murci :icon_super:

  2. Dont get me wrong.. I love the Jag... BUT.... No way it weighs 2300lbs.... 700hp probably abit optimistic as well.

Since you are shipping the car to me... we can race as I will buy an Aventador soon! :icon_mrgreen: Can try the CGT too!

I didn't weigh the car, the stats say it is 2300lbs. It is all carbon, no trunk, nothing besides air . I have no reason to disbelieve the 700hp , it is way faster than the SLR, breaks the tires loose in 3rd gear on the highway.

As i said, you will get to drive it, you be the judge . You will be surprised as how small it feels and how easy it is to drive considering it is the size of a 76 Eldorado.

  3. Your car is NOT stock...

And according to this... Murci has no issue with Xj220, and an Aventador will put a big asswhooping on it

One would think I am talking to a child debating with you lol . You have zero objectivity . Just because you own your 3 Lambos does not make them any better or worse cars than they are and the same goes for my XJ220S. Fact is , the S was delivered from TWR as a limited edition car , I did not modify it in any any way which basically means it is stock . You can argue it all you want , it still doesn't change the fact that it will destroy pretty much any Lambo up to date in a straight line and if you compare it to what Lambo was offering in 93, I.E. the Diablo , the Diablo is not even in the same ball park .

Taste is subjective and the XJ220 is not to everyone liking and obviously not to yours but if you look at the build and finish of the car , it was way ahead of its time in 93 and can still keep up with most modern sports cars

  4. The earlier models had real whiny transmissions.

The later models they had far less noise, and then sometime in or around 86 ZF started building the Countach transmission.

I believe you had a LP400S correct? What year was it?

75 LP400 , it was really whiny, almost sounded like straight cut gears.

  5. Totally agree. No squeaks from Countach.. Tons from the Murci. Oddly in all my years I've never had to parallel park the Countach. For me, its a car I drive to drive, and put back in the garage...

I never heard squeaks either , lot of other irritating noises like a super whiny transmission

  6. I doubt it will run circles around an Aventador or even a Murcielago in stock form. My point is that with each passing year, the best of the past becomes worse and worse. I almost bought an Xj220 like 15 years ago.

700hp and 2300lbs . You do the math , Murci not even close , Aventador will hole shot it for the first few hundred yards then it is game over .

  7. same can be said of the Xj220.... :icon_thumleft:

Till you actually drive one, don't comment lol . I am non biased , XJ220 will run circles around Countach, Diablo, Murci, even aventador in straight line. Handling is very good good for a 1993 car but obviously not to snuff compared to the newer cars . You will get to drive it, you be the judge.

  8. I am very curious to see how some of the older Lambos drive, my only experience pre modern era is the Diablo SV but that's not exactly an old car.

Countach drives like shit , Miura even more shit , pretty much every old Italian car drives like shit , especially if your only exposure is modern cars . Allan will chime in and disagree with me because he has a countach and loves it and can't get himself to call a spade a spade lol

  9. This car is actually nearly $2M.

Singers have been around $500K-600K for a while now, prior to this new William collaboration.

Are you sure about that ? I don't see much of a captive audience at 2mil , too many others options, even the RUF cars are not that expensive and i place RUF way ahead of Singer
