  1. Silver with an orange stripe?

Yes, about 5-6-7 years ago. I think it was in Fort Lauderdale but never actually saw it in person. It's a rare boat, easy to remember, probably still have photos.

I bought the Hyundai..I mean Fountain for a fraction which ended up being a good decision. Sold it and almost got money back two years later and never had to fix anything major.

  2. Who went through the car mechanically?

Is it carbureted or fuel injected? Almost looks like RHershey's old LP5000S - FI.

We went through the car in house. I'm in the business and have been playing with exotics since I was a kid in the 70's.

This car had been parked since the early 90's and was brought to me running, but running poorly. It is EFI converted with Lambo OEM EFI/cat system.

We replaced all hoses, fluids, filters, wires, cap, rotor, a few rod ends, serviced the fuel distributors and she runs great. Clutch seems good and A/C is ice cold after we replaced all lines and updated compressor. The interior is near mint and body excellent. Someone painted it wine red which I am not a fan of but the semi gloss black works for me. I'd love to convert to Webers if a setup became available and I did convert it to the Euro front bumper and rear lamps. Attached image is prior to bumper/spoiler conversion.

This car is a solid driver and gets way more attention than the Huracan.

  3. Champ,

Good to see you're still racing. Btw, can you help me find a 1075? My 50' cigarette needs an engine and everyone keeps pointing me to Cobra which I won't deal with.

I forgot, I tried to do a burnout with my old countach, that turned into a toasted clutch within 15'!

    A 50 Marauder!? Awesome!!

I was going to suggest Randy. I know he's had detractors but there are always two sides. He's been in business forever so he must do lots of good and he stands behind them.

    Try offshoreonly.com https://www.offshoreonly.com/classifieds/in...=any&q=1075

My cat has been parked so far this year. In February I decided to do a major update/overhaul. What I thought would take 5 months will take seven. As I'm sure you're aware much of our setup is one off, it takes time.

I'm planning to debut at the SBI Clearwater event 9/30 along with the UAE Victory team which will be introducing two boats. Should be exciting.

    Good luck with the Cig

  4. I’ve owned a handful of performance cars. Redlined and burnouts every day.

That said, you haven’t posted any photos of your Countach in a while!

Doc, I made videos and stills of me doing some wild burnouts/ doughnuts/ flames in the Count. I know they would get mega hits if I share them but I'm hoping to find a sponsor that will tie in with my Superboat Race Team.

  5. Can you please post a photo of that beast ?

Fortis, "La Bestia" Has been gone through mechanically, ice cold A/C and I converted to Euro front bumper/spoiler and the Euro rear lights. While many like the Red I sprayed the car with temporary dull black coating. A Devil like me is most suited in a black Count. Lol

I'm embarrassed to say I have not driven her at all this summer but for sure will bring her out soon.

I drive the Huracan regularly, but the H as we all know is very civilized.

  6. Great images, gorgeous car. Glad you're enjoying it. I haven't driven mine since last summer.

I've been using the Huracan almost daily, it's a great car but so civilized anyone can drive it.

The Count is a man's car, gotta be a bad boy to man handle her. Lol

  7. No! Interrupts the flow, the lines.

Do what you like, every one's perception is different. That's why we have choices.

I think the Countach looks better, cleaner without the wing but mine has a wing because without it it's not a Countach. I think the wing punctuates the car's outrageous nature.

  8. He didn't know, he took a major bath on the car.

Did your friend buy it back from the dealer he wholesaled it to?

There are many people in the business that don't know a car from an airplane. I'm amazed a man trading in six figure cars didn't pick up on the extensive paint/collision work.

It's no secret Carfax is occasionally inaccurate. I've transacted cars with a bad Carfax that clearly had only been dented but have also seen cars that were clearly wrecked and had a good fax report. This car was sold by Scottsdale Insurance at auction with a salvage title, how did it slip through the cracks ?

    Knowledge and due diligence rule.

  9. Style, quality, reliability Lamborghini hands down and I agree with Albert's comment on Ferrari's "Far East" style.

The last few Ferraris I owned were for sure lacking in quality. Why should the door on a $240k car not open when it's cold outside? Why should the roof malfunction at 3000 miles and scratch the body? Why should the alarm be stuck on and the emergency "Red Remote" not be able to overide? For now I'm a Lambo guy.
