  1. Buffalo actually got hit with a snowstorm like that just a few years ago. I don't know if it was as bad, but the same stuff, people trapped, snow up to people's second floor, etc...

Yeah, we did get hit very hard back in Nov 14

Shut the entire city down for about 5 days. Funniest part is where I live (northtowns) for those familiar it was literally sunny at my place while just 20 mins south they were getting absolutely rocked. I think the worst parts for like 80" in 48-72 hours.

Lots of people trapped, died, etc. national gaurd was in town, major driving bans everywhere.

At the time I had an Evo X MR and don't think I've ever had so much fun ripping down the snow packed roads with zero traffic what so ever.

  2. The people who can afford a brand new Huracan and a 2R package dont really care if the package costs 225K like they did on the LP cars or a couple thousand more for the DCT 2R. My guess is that there will be very few customers in that power range anyways. You either get a nice Stage 3 with a 24K/2 year warranty and have a badass street car with zero head aches or you go full out and build a race car for events like a X2. Anything in between just does not make much sense at all

I guess that comes down to your definition of afford. There are plenty of pretend ballers who have their H's financed for 144 months(I know some personally)

    You're right though if you're buying a H in cash I doubt your particularly concerned whether a 2R is $260k or $230k.

2R is the best for me IMO. 1800+ on tap when you need to put a hurting on street cars and 1150whp for cruising around town and still whacking 99.9% of stuff on the road.

  3. I've done it.

It wasn't really for me, I enjoy eating all 3 traditional meals.

As an avid weightlifter I did not see any benefits personally. I eat plenty of carbs on a daily basis in evenly spaced meals with only positive results. I'm not one who suffers after high carb meals.

I have heard of people raving about it and for some it may be easier with their lifestyle and or training/ weight goals.

I gave it about a month or so roughly before I decided against it.

  4. If you have never lived in a 'desert' go visit in August just to get the full spectrum. No doubt it's absolutely amazing this time of year.

Yeah, I know what I'm getting myself into. Thanks for the advice though.

Spent some time there last summer and experienced a couple days around 110-113. Wasn't as nasty feeling as the Florida summer heat with humidity. I'm sure it wears on you after a while but that will be a good time to do some traveling to some more mild climate places.

Keep in mind I am used to winters with single digits, high winds and lake effect snow. I'll gladly take a little desert heat :)

  5. Agree on all fronts. Just got back from Scottsdale as well. Heading out there again on the 22nd for 4 days. Want to move there in coming years. Grandma had a beautiful custom home near Pinnacle Peak/Troon til she passed 2 years ago. Fell in love with Scottsdale while visiting her over the years; the hiking, the sun, and the people.

Just snowed here in Chicago today - that's what sucks about the midwest (snow in March). But I'd say Chicago is 80% of New York at 50% of the price. All the big acts come through, arguably the top city for food in the country, awesome night life, has all the major sports teams, gorgeous architecture (Mies, Helmut Jahn, etc. etc.), gorgeous women (who are mostly more down to earth than NY/Far West Coast). That's the good...

The Bad: Long winters, lots of traffic + terrible state govt. and taxes like CA.

Agreed. Just got back from Scottsdale at the beginning of the month. I am moving there in the early part of 2018. Can't wait to get out of NY. Something about that AZ sun and feel just feels good!

Looking at some of the newer condos/Apts in Old town. Lots of options in that area currently.

  6. I gave up my allocation today on the new Perf. Awesome car but I just sold my UGR H. IMO an H just doesn't do it for me like an SV does. So your heading the right direction.

Out of curiosity what didn't you like about the TT

Of course it's no SV, I understand. Haven't heard many impressions yet from the UGR H's.

  7. Please remove my full name.

Just out of curiosity, why do you care? There are plenty of people on this board and on the internet who post their full names or can easily be found. We don't live in a world of privacy anymore unless you go to extreme measures. Also, it would be incredibly naive to think you can become a YouTube sensation at 21 with an SV, GTR and C63 and not think there would be 1000's of people trying to figure out your personal information. If you want to remain anonymous online then don't start a youtube channel.

You totally brought all of this onto yourself.

Also, if you've just exited a big tech startup I'm sure your name would easily be associated with press on tech crunch, etc.
