  1. Either way they´ve just announced to go with even bigger turbos, since they have already modified the frame for the A20 turbos and made room for even bigger ones. Probably will go to GTX45 style 80mm turbos...
  2. I don´t know what to believe. They say 2000WHP and 3900lbs with driver. Maybe the two platforms are just too different to compare (power/weight/transmission/aero/traction) wise.
  3. The A20s miss a lot of stuff lambda lambda lambda and the lambda lambda lambda and the omega mu mu has. Some have still the full interior with the stock seats. Those weigh like a ton each. Then o.mega is the only one that has the new billet block so it can run more boost. Probably is tweaked and adjusted to perfection at the events as well. So yeah an A20 may have the same turbos, but no customer GTR will ever be as fast as their developmental shop car
  4. 2000WHP is enough to keep up even with an X version Huracan ( in the 2100-2200WHP range). Remember that the Huracan has full boost from 4th gear on and starts its run in 2nd gear. So 2 gears to run with lower boost. Thats where the GTR has a slight advantage power wise. So its basically about reaction time and who can put down more power sooner.
  5. True. UGR does have a lot of great partners and people with know how. Especially in the engine, turbo and electronics department (Proline, Precision and John Reed). But AM.S does also have some great partners. They never really had any transmission issues. They had to focus on making big power reliably first and putting it to the ground while the driveline parts were developed and provided by their partners along the way. I´m not saying they will try to enter the same market with big 2000+HP Huracans/Audi R8s but i believe if there was any company who could do it it would be them.
  6. AM.S said they have "big plans" for the R8/Huracan DCT platforms....just saying LOL
  7. Hm..is that for now or do you plan to develop a DCT solution for X versions?
  8. Do you know for sure? AM.S said they spent the last 8 months working on the DCT of the new R8 so might be true
  9. One question...does the Huracan still have its DCT or was it changed to a dog box as rumoured by some. Also what tires did you run on it? I noticed you had some HRE P104s on there. So either R888 315/30 R20 or 345/30 R19s Rear?
  10. The Huracan race was amazing! Looks like it has a bit more power/better aero up top. Another 100 feet and it would have caught up. But great race!
  11. I respect all of the performances. And I´m not going to compare drag radials vs street tires or customer vs shop car. All very impressive cars and hard to compare. Just love how this event and pushes everyone to improve
  12. The hit plays a role, but the catching up part is due to the fact that the GTR can put down way more HP in 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear than the Lambos on street tires.
  13. Lots of high HP cars there and all running strong. The Huracan definitely was the surprise of this event. Can´t wait to read more details about it, watch the vids and see what you have in store for the future.
  14. That billet block is no joke...lots of power and lots of traction with 15 inch wheels. Very hard to beat
  15. Yep. Both UGR cars out in the Semi Finals unfortunately. I have a feeling UGR will switch to drag radials soon to put down more power sooner
  16. AM:S beats UGR Huracan. Both cars 201 mph. Very close race
  17. Hopefully they get the races going before the rain starts again
  18. So, AM.S shop car they´ve developed since 2011 and brand new UR Huracan. Should be very interesting
  19. Nope hes talking about the Florida event. Bob Helms SL that went 233 with KC driving it not the Texas Event with Justin Herricks Black SL
  20. AM.S Omgegah vs KC Huracan Andy Viiper vs Kevin in White SL
