UR's DCTs can handle power all the way into the Race versions, so I would suspect that this uses one. Wouldn't make sense, otherwise, since the DCT shifts faster and the only advantage of the dog box is power handling. For now...

Yeah...I don't think there is a 'universal' distance used for the roll races. If I remember correctly, TX2K has changed over the years as they moved from Texas Speedway to Royal Purple drag strip and those were different from TI. And those are different, still, from the ones used at the races in Pocono...

We don't know how long the distance was nor the starting speed for the Shift Sector roll races...

Just getting ready to post that he ran a 238. Couldn't tell if it was a record though. It's amazing that they are running this strong at that elevation. And listen to the wind in this video. are you guys sure there isnt a roll cage? coulda sworn i saw the corner of one in Moe's car in the video. and Mike's clearly has a fire suppression system that you can see in the pic he posted.... and to your last sentence...i was at clayton for the 1st WGF event. they literally had folks standing, unabated, on the right side of the runway...as close as they wanted. none of the areas were roped off. what youre seeing, now, is MUCH better than it's maiden run.
