Just about any Plaintiff's attorney in the area should be interested in it as the CLRA is a very strong tool for consumers.

I appreciate it. I've had two very optimistic consultations. I just put a lot of stake in a personal referral, especially to someone billing $380/hr +exp

  2. I hate that I have to seek a second recommendation for a lawyer, but here we are.

I recently purchased a ZR1 out of Santa Monica, and long story short, the car has some incredible flaws that the dealership very much intentionally concealed.

Dealership employee tells me last week (on a recorded phone call, with consent) that the owner of the dealership authorized him to purchase the car back and reimburse expenses.

General Manager is now telling me to pound sand and he would happily bury me in the discovery costs with his "Team of lawyers on Beverly Hills" if I want litigation.

So of course, here I am seeking advice for representation.

  3. Just amazes me how streetable the car looks as well. No chute, no drag tires, no gutted interior. Basically a true street car with

some monstrous turbos and magic tuning by John Reed. Must be so much work to get all of the shiny billet hardware work together. But it sure did. What a performance and way more to come shortly im sure

This was the biggest thing, for me. The ETS car was fast, no doubt. It barely idled (probably altitude related, but still). It died probably 4-5 times on the live feed. UGR would come up, rip off a pass, and drive back. On the feeds it seemed there was no real drama.

  4. I appreciate it. There's a pretty big market for the imported cars, but there are a LOT of scumbags around. They feed off the ambiguity and nuances of the law and people's general lack of knowledge. If you have any questions about the process please don't hesitate to reach out, I've become pretty well versed.

  5. Spoke to a couple of lawyers from a quick google search, sounds like I'm SOL.

It was just a little experiment in the importing of the 90's Japanese cars. I had secured a Mitsubishi Evolution 4 to be imported in November of 2021. The car was $6,700 so there's not a ton on the line, but it was more about the experience. I was going to fly over and drive it around Japan and hopefully sell it for a little profit once it was delivered.

Turns out, the company I had purchased it from closed up shop and the owners disappeared. There are a few other parties in the middle of litigation so I don't want to post too many details.

There is hope, because the car exists and the owner of the Japanese shop is in close communication with myself and the other people importing cars. He's trying his best to salvage the situation so I'm quite grateful for him.

Believe me, when I feel I'm able to, I will post all the details.
