Wow, had no idea it is a common thread that lambo owners travel to/live in China. I too go 2x a year to China, Hong Kong and Taipei..

I have the quicksilver exhaust on mine, so it is pretty loud and I try not to start the car too early (because of the high idle on start-up/warm-up). My neighbor directly across the street is cool, never complained but did tell that her windows rattle when I start the car, another guy has a motorcycle that is pretty loud and I can hear him in my house when he takes it for a ride, so he will never say anything. I try to not sit and idle too long or rev it just as a courtesy so I do NOT have to fend off the jelous complaints. coming home is no problem, it is very quick into my garage and I have a flat driveway so almost idle all the way in.

Completely off subject, but I am going to change out the factory radio and many new ones have a plug for back up camera's... so has anyone ever swapped out the rear wing04' to the newer ones with the integrated camera?

Congrats.. How long until you get it? I wanted the 06' but got a smoking deal on an 04' that was too good to pass up. I have now been looking at upgrading the stereo and some of them have a backup camera feature/plug to make installation easier.

Anyone know where they are located ? Picture ? Sounds simple enough to remove and inspect/clean.

It is real CF, the flash does make it look funny, once it gets sunny out I can take another pic with no flash. In person it looks great.

OK, figured out how to get the picture bigger... Yeah I saw those other engine carbon fiber parts, don't have them yet.. taking baby steps. These were only $199 for the pair!!

The best part was it took less than 15 minutes to install them..they are a direct fit.

Anyone know what the 4 wire+ground) plug in the back of the gauges -what each wire is for exactly ? Also, if unplugged will it throw a CEL ? And finally, the temp and oil pressure senders: Is the signal volts or Ohms?

Do you have pics of the back? Is it completely enclosed ?

Yes, but so does the owners manual of my nissan truck, Subaru and Chevy truck all say but not many people follow that. Most likely 3K-4K -just wondering waht everyone else is doing.

$300 would be reasonable, but Lamborghini Orlando, Fl also charges $565.00 inc. Tax. The Oil Alone is $209, $81 filter, $5 washer/Gasket and $229 for Labor. Yikes !

My first post on the board to celebrate my awesome first drive. I got my Gallardo yesterday a month after signing the deal as problems with getting a clear title from a private seller delayed my ownership 40 days. A very longgggg 40 days... well worth the wait. I took delivery about 140 miles away from my house and looked forward to the 2+ hour drive home. As you all know already the drive was awesome, better than I expected. The car is more comfortable than I expected on a long drive. It is everything and more I expected, very happy with my purchase. Pictures and vid coming soon
