Does anyone even make an air intake system for a 2007 Spyder? I heard they dont exist... Also, what air filter do you suggest if I get the replaced? Should I go with K&M or a set of Supperleggera air filters? Any advice???

Hey Guys! I purchase my 2007 Gallardo Spyder last year and I wanted to do some basic mods to add maybe 40-50 horsepower. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to add about 50 horsepower without spending too much? Maybe some fine tuning, or adding an air filter? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Also, how much should I expect to spend? Thanks!

Everyone can blow me then. I have been spending the last 2 weeks powdercoating my wheels, ceramic coating my tips, tinting my taillights, and putting in this QS exhaust. I just got it back from Mitch at Famous AutoSports in Canoga Park. He did an AMAZING job. He took pics of my car and I will have them emailed to me, then put up on the sites. Is anyone out there really such a lowlife to post these questions and actually not have the car? You guys are hilarious.

Hey guys, I powdercoated my callisto wheels black and my guy put a thin orange stripe on the border of the wheel. However, it is peeling off from the edge. Does anyone know what I can use to get a secure thin orange stripe on the wheel. I can paint them of course, but I would rather not. Anyone have any solutions?

Hey Guys! I just installed a Quicklsilver Titanium Supersport exhaust on my 2007 Gallardo Spyder. Everytime I start in 1st gear, the rumble from the exhaust makes the whole car rattle and gives this rattling type of a sound until I get going and eventually switch to 2nd gear. Then it goes away. Is this rattling type of a sound normal for people who have exhausts? I have never had an exhaust so it sounds a little bit weird at first. The sound only comes from the inside of the cabin. From the outside, it sounds perfectly normal without any rattle sound. Anyone with experience care to share their thoughts?

Hey guys. So, I decided to powdercoat my wheels gloss black. BUT the guy tells me I cannot powdercoat the bolts because when he comes to re-assemble the wheels, he will end up stripping the paint right off. Can you please let me know what you suggest? The bolts are titanium, so I cannot anodize them either. I dont want the aluminum bolts. I want the bolts to be all black as well. What can I do?

Hey Guys! My 2007 Gallardo Spyder has only 2k miles on it, but every time I apply the brakes moderately, I get the loud squealing from the brakes. I tried using brake parts cleaner, but that didnt work. I dont want to slam on my brakes (as some people suggest) every single time I drive the car. Any suggestions or tricks I can use to end this annoyance?

Hey Guys! I am have Arancio Borealis (Orange) 2007 Spyder and I am Powdercoating the Callisto wheels in a black. Which black would be the best fit for this car? I can choose from Glossy Black, Satin Black (Semi Gloss), or Matte Black. What is everyones opinion on the best finish?

I dont smell fuel when I drive my gallardo harder than normal, but I do smell something burning. Is this normal or is this a cause for concern? I do not smell gas, but I do smell the burning smell of the engine. Please let me know guys. Thanks!

Can I get the same actron code scanner from Autozone here in Los Angeles? Can I clear the engine code with it? If so, will it keep coming back? How much is the scanner? Is it easy to use?

Hey Guys! My New Gallardo was delivered with a Check Engine 6-10 Malfunction. I took the car to the dealer and the codes that came up were P1314 and P1315. The dealer told me my exhaust pipes may be rusty and/or dirty? They cleared the CEL and said it may come back on. Sure enough, it did and its annoying as hell. I did a PPI before buying the car and no issues came up. The car was delivered this way. Any reasons why this is? Also, is there anything I can do to resolve the situation without spending $1200 to change pipes? Does anyone know how to manually reset the CEL that comes on? What if I get a Quicksilver exhaust? Will this solve my problem or is it unrelated?

Does anyone have any experience with cat deletions on a 2007 Spyder? The stock exhaust sounds good, but I need just a little bit more rumble. Im afriad that a full on exhaust will make it too loud. Can I remove the cats on my car? Does anyone have experience with this? Does it hurt the car or cause any problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone suggest getting an exhaust for the 07 Spyder? If so, what brand is best? For Tubi, are there different kinds of Tubis? Also, I dont want something SOOOO loud because I have a convertible and dont want to go deaf. Any suggestions?
