    He is still plugging away at his 25th thread and posting silver 25th pics acting like nothing happened.... I guess Monterey awaits... It's just sad how fchat became like some personal rolling advertisement for the cars he sells. And when anyone disagrees and points out even true facts that don't align with his agenda, he slams anyone on the forum. I don't agree with that type of selling at all...

  3. It's not that bad because there is the girl. If the Asian girl is on the video and she is not offended, I wouldn't be too worried bout it... And Allan is no racist man... I know because he loves chinaman;) and I've had my run ins with racists... The song is nothing more than just out there for shock value... Like so many songs that does nothing but illicit response.. So why even be hurtful by some idiots? You're only fueling the very thing they want... Your reaction. Don't give them the satisfaction... Just look at it, tell your kids this is what idiocy lies out in the real world and never look at it again. And it's good allan showed this because we get to see things like this and remind ourselves that there are still stupid people in the world who doesn't know better.

    Thanks for the offer;). The modeling we can do in house. It's amortizing mold cost over x amount of units that determine the per piece price... I guess we can make some furniture out of it too;)

    Dude, we need to reengineer it to 17" , go through load, side impact, frontal impact, salt spray testing, fatigue testing, run out test.... All to make sure the darn thing is safe... Its not a assemble in 3 days 3 piece that will look nothing like the original...I don't want any of my ct brethren to suffer a wheel failure man...

    While you're at it, get some guys together so I can amortize the cost out. It's gonna cost some deniro... If there are enough people to make it happen, I'll move forward...

  6. For what its worth. The exclusivity of it is the price tag. As to the tech involved on the car, not worth it. Reason being that it is a rebodied gallardo stripped of everything down to the windshield to gain the maximum amount of weight loss. Look at the weight of some of the stripped out race cars out there and its not super high tech... As a message from Lamborghini, I get it. But putting in a a cf tub, clothing with carbon body will not lower any production car weight unless conscious effort is made to shed weight on all aspects down to every nut and bolt. We can see that evident in the aventador where a cf body and tub still yields a hefty car... Its the right direction, but if they consider the price point of the cars they sell, weight loss is probably not commercially viable unless their sales prices jump up dramatically...

     

    Looking at the new super cars out, their cf tech coupled with pricy materials to shed weight are evident with the price tag they command...

  7. From everything I have collected and seen, a DD motor doesnt make more power than F/I. The main difference is weight and emissions, since Euro cars werent strapped with cats and smog pumps etc. A good F/I, no smog equipment, euro style headers, and euro bumper conversion inmo is faster than a DD. Not only that it drives better, better powerband, more consistant and reliable.

     

    The sound difference between the cars comes down to exhaust. There have been some vids posted lately of F/I cars running open exhaust and they sound just as good as the carbed cars. My question is if you lose TQ down low from the loss of backpressure.

     

    I think with open or less restrictive exhaust , the loss of back pressure will almost always lose some low end torque, hence probably why DD motors are different in terms of power and torque curve. So unless if you are willing to mod FI ann ct and go beyond its originality, then you can release some power for the car. But if you are a collector who is in it for the historical sense, modding and putting in a exhaust defeats some of the originality intended for a FI vehicle... Again it all comes to what you intend the car to be. I wouldnt care as much about originality as I would about the sound especially on an ann ct... But again people can spin it anyway they want...

    also the 5000 carbed is worth more than the 5000 FI (talking about 2 valves cars)

     

    p.s. keep in mind there are few FI QVs here, very little FI anniversarios and probably close to none 5000S FI

    almost all of them came from outside Europe

     

    I would have imagined that a exhaust tweak would make the FI ann to be interesting enough though... didnt know that dd ann would still be more desirable i despite the fact that the FI powerband is more flexible than the DD ann since carb ann powerband is more high strung... thus more fitting to its less extreme looks and performance...

  9. I always prefer F/I.. Ultimately, what about this twist... since the F/I was only for the U.S., and DD for the rest of the world... The F/I could be a sought after collectible for the rest of the world, since there are less.

     

    Now that would be a thought... Interesting twist as qv dd always was viewed as the ct to get... Now it seems all of sudden fuelies aren't bad anymore... Lol i guess it's all how people spin things...lol
