This ALA should have been incorporated into the SV. I wonder if this technology could be retrofitted into the current SV lineup.

I was finally able to find time and do the full system install. The process was no cake walk as factory lamb techs are magicians and they were able to fit in stuff that you can't get out. Well with will power and a reciprocating saw I was able to get the left cats out. There was no issues on the right side. I ran the car today for an hour without any issues, no engine codes. She sounds proper now and down shifing blurps are orgasmic.

[/quoteIve had these issues on both my 14 and now my 17 SV but seems to go away. Why ??????? Who knows. But Weird they can't fix them.
I didn't know this issue is such a common occurrence in the Avents, but I'm glad to hear it seems to resolve itself. By all no means excusable in a half mil car imo.

Total side note, but which LP640 6 speed do you own???
I'm not really sure what you are asking here. But, mine is Giallo Orion.

It happened to me in my Aventador as well. I was running 75+ on the highway when it happened. I was fairly close to a friends house, so I limped it over to his house and pulled it into the garage. I was worried that if I pulled over on the side of the highway I would be stranded, which would be one of the worst experiences ever... I had all these things running through my head, like someone would drive by and throw a bottle at the car, etc. I let it sit for a few minutes in the garage and it started right back up with no issues. Haven't had an issue since, so I'm assuming it was just some weird glitch, as I'm sure yours was too.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I hope my issue is the same as yours and it won't come back again.

Is it possible to scan the fault codes to see if anything is stored? Did you do an exhaust or any mods?
I will let them scan next time if ever happens again. There's no mods or any after market exhaust yet.

Had a strange issue today while normal driving today. I was going around 20-25mph, all of sudden car pop up the Park and the ESC icons and began stalling, non-responsive to the gas pedal, I was in Sport mode at the time. I was able to inch my way off the road, cut off the power. After that, I restarted the car normally. It was fine driving home. I don't know what to make of it, except that it was probably a computer glitch. I will probably wait to see if it happens again before rushing to the dealer and will find nothing if the car is running fine. Anyone ever had this issue?

What system is that exhaust? Who makes it?

That exhaust looks very good, what made you chose it over some of the other offerings ?
I went with them because its all titanium, the quality of the welds is superb. The complete weighs next to nothing, can hold up the exhaust with one finger. The test pipes even come with thermal jackets as well. A few other members of my Gia Lai rally team have this system in SS and they sound ridiculously fierce. Supposedly, the sound is even crazier in the titanium version. Last, I was able to get the hookup through a friend at wholesale cost too.

Where can we get this wheel guide?
This is a solid piece and very heavy, they could have bore it out more from the center of it.

great info! what are your thoughts on the car so far?
Love the looks and interior is updated compared to my Murcie. I'm having second thoughts about sport seats though. The oem exhaust will be gone very soon and a full IPE titanium system in its place. The Corsa mode is very addictive at higher rpm but exhaust notes suck in this mode for some reason. The best exhaust note is definitely in Sport mode.
Front bonnet is aggravating in that one have to pop it from the inside after doors open. I'm working on a solution by adding a solenoid to pop the lid after pressing the oem key fob unlock button twice. I have already got the lid to pop with the installed solenoid, just to find out which wire is the unlock signal and the best place to access it. Once all is sorted, will post up write up if anyone wants to tackle the task. I'm all Avent owners will benefit from this modification. Don't understand why Lambo didn't make this standard to begin with.

Congrats! Another Cepheus club member! Any interior shots?

what floor mat are you using? with the cup holder it fits snugly in the slot w/o modification? great thinking!
Just slides into the slot, fits snuggly in it with water bottle without any movement at all. Remove the cupholder whenever you want to without any scar.

Got those from Andrew in Canada. His Instagram is droid6.

Great set of quality mats. Such a shame to put dirty shoes on them though.

Perhaps you can try one of this?
Available at the BMW parts department. I think that tab should fit into the slot where the iPhone/iPod is design to go. Add a paper cup and you should be able to store something inside it.
Thanks for the tip VCR! I picked up one on eBay for around $35. This thing works beautifully in the side slot on the passenger side. It fits snuggly in it like it was made for it. Best of all, can be removed without any modifiications to the SV. I wasn't trying to be cheap about it, just don't like having a cup holder right there all of the time.

Any guidelines as far as how often one can do this before the obvious such as replacement the rear tires and clutch?

The car looks stunning enjoy it in the best of health!
Thanks Fortis! I was worried with the blue/orange combo, but it pulled it off very well. I am very pleased with it.
