Ok C, I'll keep that in mind.

Maybe he should reconsider that lower mileage ones won't be all that great as he thinks. I've seen quite a few in terrible condition in and out.

FYI: SV recall; loose centering bolts may cause wheel detachment
drviperdds replied to sl55's topic in Archived Content
I have taking off my center lock wheels multiple times without issues. Also, none of the center caps ever came off. I suspect that sometimes techs are not putting them back on correctly. I usually run a bead of dishwasher soap around the rubber gasket on the caps when placing them back on the wheels. -
That thing is sexy af!!!!!! Absolutely jaw dropping!

Thanks for the shout out Double. This is mine on consignment at Excell. I did not want to do the entire to look exactly identical to the SV but rather just key elements to give it a more aggressive look. The interior was untouched and exterior can be reversed back to a standard LP in a day. Did the major service with the new oem clutch and throw out bearing and all fluids at 27K miles. Mechanically, it's running like a champ with no issues whatsoever . -
clear side marker - anyone changed them out
drviperdds replied to ls2imprs's topic in Archived Content
Once you take the wheels off, you should be able to see all screws that hold the fender lining. But if you're asking how to do that, maybe this is not a DIY project for you. -

Wheels and inner fenders right at the markers need to come off. Well, the fronts can be done without without wheels off buy the turning all the right or left but it's tight. -

http://www.braygroup.com Got this multilayered film on my SV, can't even tell it is on there. This will only keep the windshield from getting sandblasted though. If hit by big rocks, then I don't think it will be too much help.

When I took delivery of my SV, every panel pieces had some type of sanding lines everywhere, so contacted the dealer and my sales guy he said never heard of that. These marks are hard to capture on film so I was like whatever. I pay my detail guy 5 days to do paint correction and it came out like glass after. To say that things doesn't get pass quality control is far fetched.
