  1. The 'good news'? How old are you? Hundreds of Tim's customers disagree with you. So what?
  2. I've known Tim for years and have been around these games for awhile. I and many others disagree with you. No reason to beat a dead horse.
  3. EVOMS holds the Mile record by default as no other Porsche shop has a customer wanting to build a Mile car. EVOMS has obviously been working on Porsches for a long time, yet swiss cheese came in and his first build beat EVOMS ET/MPH years ago. They should be thanking the market for moving swiss cheese towards GTR's. swiss cheese has shipped their 65th p800 kit and will be finishing their 8th 1000whp+ car over the next month....not counting various hybrid builds. swiss cheese has the #2 ET record (having only gone to the track once with a version 1 Mouse wheel) and the #1 ET record for stock block. Like ASS and SPE, they are shooting for an 8 second run in a couple weeks. I could care less about dyno sheets, etc, etc. One of their sales guys left last summer to be closer to his young son in Chicago - and has been consulting with swiss cheese ever since. What was your point? EDIT: the fact that you/moderators are keywording any mention of his name to childish substitutes proves my earlier point.....
  4. I applaud your local support of tuning shops....but it's safe to say we'll agree to disagree on these points.
  5. A number of customers out of each shop you listed would strongly disagree.
  6. You obviously haven't tracked his developments and products in the Porsche and GTR markets much. Not expecting you (or anyone for that matter) to be in that loop...but it's partly the world I came from.....
  7. The jealously over SPI's success in the Porsche (and especially) GTR market is fun to watch. I was the first e900 owner for a reason. tiny tiny tym wanted a local customer to really test e85 and push the stock motor further than anyone else was willing to do before we built the motor. As my car still has the stock motor ET record, I suppose we took it to the limit. Like Fadi said, I went over 4k miles with too many 200 mph and street races to count without a hiccup. tiny tiny tym was shocked it stayed together as long as it did but once we tore it down to check on everything, we discovered we went past the limit. Fadi knew the e900 was still being developed but understood the risks. tiny tiny tym tore it down prior to his delivery for a reason.....
  8. How did you tie a 100-150 time when that car only traps mid 140's? Did you each have a pbox and stay in it after the line? It's a mild tune per the owner's instructions that makes 800hp.....so a lighter TTG at 740hp should stay close. Fadi's car is a bit faster.
  9. Cleveland. I've done my fair share of street racing down in Columbus with a few different cars over the years. Nice collection of cars by the way....!
  10. Ha, thanks guys...I imagine based on these pics that most of us are out-chicked....
  11. Been lurking for awhile, so figured I'd make my first post. Picture of my wife in my 7 second Supra heading back from dinner.
